Verdict: Considering the relative effort put in by the different parties Ivan did very well although his vote was down on last time.

No canvassing and only two leaflets kept Ivan's campaign low key and affordable, whereas the main parties had thrown everything at it, especially the Lib Dems whose result was much improved on previous efforts but still not quite good enough.

Beating UKIP was the only real objective and that was done with ease, Ivan polling five times the UKIP vote.

EUROPE must be “more confident in its Christianity” and stop “suppressing” its heritage for fear of discriminating against minority religions, a Government minister will say today.

Leading a historic delegation to the Vatican to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Britain and the Holy See, Baroness Warsi, a Muslim, will warn against downgrading faith.

Writing in a newspaper ahead of the two-day visit she warned people were being denied the right to a religious identity in a way similar to how totalitarian regimes repressed religion.

She said: “My fear is that a militant secularisation is taking hold of our societies. 
“We see it when signs of religion cannot be displayed or worn in government buildings; and where religion is sidelined, marginalised and downgraded in the public sphere. One of the most worrying aspects about this militant secularisation is that at its core and in its instincts it is deeply intolerant.”

In a week when yet again the forces of darkness are attacking me over my Christmas leaflet, this interesting article appeared in the news.

LORD CAREY has attacked the judiciary and warned of “deep forces” that are driving Christianity to the margins of society.
The former Archbishop of Canterbury’s comments came after a High Court judge banned prayers before council meetings, a custom observed since the 16th century.
Meanwhile, an appeal court ruled two B&B owners had broken the law by refusing to allow a gay couple to stay in a double room.

Lord Carey said: “There are deep forces at work in Western society, hollowing out the values of Christianity and driving them to the margins. Judges say the law has no obligation to the Christian faith but I say ‘rubbish’ to that.”

He described his new book out this week, called We Don’t Do God after an outburst by spin doctor Alistair Campbell, as a “call to arms” for Christian values.

While David Cameron has voiced support for Christian values, he risks a fresh clash with churches in March when Ministers launch a consultation on redefining marriage to include same-sex couples.

In his book, Lord Carey says “homosexual rights are trumping religious rights” and that Christians are subject to growing intolerance in a society that is enslaved to “multi-culturalism, political correctness and equal rights”.

So 'reverends' who speak for virtually nobody these days, what do you say to Lord Carey, or would you like to ban him from your little exclusive club and grovel to those who would destroy you?

Nine men who plotted to bomb the London Stock Exchange and build a terrorist training camp have been jailed.

Three of the men - all members of an al-Qaeda inspired terror group - received indeterminate sentences for public protection at London's Woolwich Crown Court.

The court heard they had planned to raise funds for a terrorist camp in Pakistan and recruit Britons to attend.

The nine come from Stoke-on-Trent, Cardiff and London.

In sentencing, the judge described all the men - who are British nationals of Bangladeshi and Pakistani origin - as Islamic fundamentalists.

The three to receive indeterminate sentences for the terror camp plan included Mohammed Shahjahan 27, of Stoke-on-Trent, who was jailed for a minimum term of eight years and 10 months.

Usman Khan, 20, and Nazam Hussain, 26, also from Stoke-on-Trent, were ordered to serve at least eight years.

Judge Mr Justice Wilkie said these three were "the more serious jihadists" and said they should not be released until they were no longer a threat to the public.

The court heard they planned to establish the terrorist camp on land in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir owned by Khan's family and encourage a "significant" number of British Muslims to undergo training there.

Khan and Hussain planned to travel to the camp and receive military instruction themselves before "obtaining first-hand terrorist experience in Kashmir", the hearing was told.

Passing sentence, Mr Justice Wilkie said this was a "serious, long-term venture in terrorism" that could also have resulted in atrocities in the UK.

The police kept the men under surveillance for some time before arresting them

"It was envisaged by them all that ultimately they and the other recruits may return to the UK as trained and experienced terrorists available to perform terrorist attacks in this country, on one possibility contemplated in the context of the return of British troops from Afghanistan."

Four others, who all pleaded guilty to engaging in conduct in preparation for acts of terrorism by planning to plant a bomb in the toilets of the London Stock Exchange, were:
•Gurukanth Desai, 30, from Cardiff: 12 years
•Abdul Miah, 25, from Cardiff: 16 years, 10 months
•Mohammed Chowdhury, 22, from London: 13 years, 8 months
•Shah Rahman, 28, from London: 12 years

Omar Latif, 28, from Cardiff, admitted attending meetings with the intention of assisting others to prepare or commit acts of terrorism. He was given a sentence of 10 years and 4 months.

Mohibur Rahman, 28, from London, was given a five-year sentence after he admitted to possessing two editions of an al-Qaeda magazine for terrorist purposes.

All nine men were arrested in December 2010. Each pleaded guilty to terrorism charges on the eve of their trial at Woolwich Crown Court.

THREE Muslim men who called for gay people to be executed face jail after the first trial of its kind in Britain.

The men gave out leaflets called The Death Penalty? outside a mosque and put them through the letterboxes of homes in 2010.

They showed a mannequin hanging from a noose and claimed that homosexual relations were a sin. It was the first such prosecution since new laws were introduced in 2010 to combat homophobia.

Razwan Javed, 28, Kabir Ahmed, 28, and Ihjaz Ali, 42, were yesterday convicted at Derby Crown Court of distributing threatening material intending to stir up hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation.

Sentencing was deferred until February 10.

There is a phrase that says "you reap what you sow" and here we have a group whose religious leaders frequently complain about hatred and discrimination being directed towards them, even though they peddle the same stuff at everyone who does not surrender to their doctrine of violence, discrimination against women, hatred of other religions, and now those with unusual tastes.

Before anyone rejoices that these fanatics are being persecuted for their beliefs, just spare a thought for the idea that hate is the opposite of love and if you can go to prison for hate, then you can go to prison for love...That is how leftyism works, they persecute your emotional feelings as though you can choose what they are. Yet despite all this the prestigious Forbes Magazine have just ranked South Africa as the third most friendly country in the world, ahead of Canada, the USA and The UK. One has to wonder exactly how they are defining the word "friendly" in coming to this decision.

France languishes at Number 15 on the list, despite the fact that, as in Britain, when people are tortured to death in French hate crimes it tends to be immigrants who do it, not the locals. (Germany, Ireland and many other European Countries do not even make it onto the list, although an increasingly Islamic Turkey and crime ridden Mexico do)

Forbes appear to have disregarded a significant amount of data when compiling their list, and swept a lot more under the carpet. But Hey this the brave new world of 2012, little matters like the truth, or indeed public safety, can no loger be allowed to interfere with the promotion of yet another politically correct fantasy.

Sir, — In 1993-94, the black teenager Stephen Lawrence and white teenager Richard Everitt were murdered by young 'racist gangs' in London but there the resemblance ends.

Vast media publicity followed Stephen's case, the Home Secretary visited, a monument was erected and a judicial inquiry denounced the police as ''institutionally racist''.

Two men have now been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment while the judge demands the other attackers be punished because they engaged in a ''joint exercise''.

Eleven Bengali youths — one aged 20 — were arrested over Richard's killing but only two came to trial with no calls for the rest to be prosecuted on a ''joint enterprise'' basis.

One was found guilty of violent disorder and served 18 months while the other served 11 years for what the trial judge described it as a ''wholly unprovoked racist murder''.

There was no visit by the Home Secretary, no monument, no judicial inquiry, no interest shown by his local MP and a code of omerta from the metropolitan leftist media.

Ludicrous Waste Of Money By A Government That Pleads Poverty

The Government has given the go-ahead for the HS2 high-speed rail scheme, saying the £32.7 billion project would benefit the whole country.

But Transport Secretary Justine Greening will face a battle to get her plans through, as opponents of the project plan to step up their efforts to derail it.

Aware of the strength of feeling of the anti-lobby, Ms Greening announced that more of the £16.4 billion London-Birmingham first phase of the project - which passes through picturesque Tory heartlands - would be in tunnels.

She also announced extra measures to assist those affected by the scheme that will, by 2026, see 400 metre-long trains capable of holding 1,100 passengers, whisking them on a 140-mile route from London to Birmingham in just 45 minutes.

She said the scheme, which will include a second phase to Manchester and Leeds by 2033, would mean more seats, better connections, new jobs, and growth and prosperity for the entire country.

"HS2 will link some of our greatest cities - and high-speed trains will connect with our existing railway lines to provide seamless journeys to destinations far beyond it. This is a truly British network that will serve far more than the cities directly on the line," she said.

Network Rail and the Association of Train Operating Companies welcomed the announcement, with both organisations reckoning that expanding existing rail routes was not enough to combat overcrowding. Rail unions were also pleased with the go-ahead for the scheme.

But the Taxpayers' Alliance and the Stop HS2 campaign both said the project was "a white elephant", while the Institute of Economic Affairs said the scheme was "economically flawed".

Jerry Marshall, chairman of Agahst (Action Groups Against High Speed Two), said HS2 was "a disaster waiting to happen", but the British Chamber of Commerce said rail services would get worse without the new line and the CBI said the announcement was welcome.

And Stop HS2's campaign co-ordinator, Joe Rukin, claimed the route was simply the "wrong priority" for the country. Mr Rukin, from Kenilworth in Warwickshire, said: "There is no business case, no environmental case and there is no money to pay for it."

"For one tenth of the cost, the London to Sheffield route could be upgraded and electrified, improving travel times and business opportunites for a far wider community, but as usual the arrogant elite, who no doubt have vested interests in HS2, will do what suits them and ignore both commonsense and public opinion."

Europe's Weimar Moment Here Again

Following the defeat of Germany in WW1 the country was forced to change its form of government resulting in the formation of what is generally known as the Weimar Republic.

Like Europe today it was run by a social-democratic elite deriving much of its support from the elite’s allies in the labour unions, but the economic disaster of the 1920s, rocketing inflation, mass unemployment and downward spiraling of living standards left voters disenchanted and angry.

The centrist, well meaning Weimar government lost the support of the German people and out of this turmoil the political spectrum changed with Communism on the left growing more popular and in direct response the Nazis on the Far Right.

Now, once again Europe is at a Weimar moment. Poised between the aggressive reality of fundamental Islamism and the danger of an incipient native neo-fascism, it is government by an elite, many of whose members, even now, remain determined not to face reality.

The spectacular failure of integration has brought some nations to the verge of social chaos and is leading others steadily in that direction; and European leaders, unwilling to shake off their faith in multiculturalism and the welfare state, are spending ever increasing sums to subsidize and deepen that failure, thus leading their nations inexorably toward economic ruin as well.

When Europe finally awakens and responds to the rise of Islamism in its midst, it could either lead to a rise of Nazi style hooliganism directed at Muslim schools and mosques as happened in Holland after the murder of Theo van Gogh, or it will stand up for liberal values. In either case the future for Europe is a grim one with slow Balkanization and a dividing into warring pockets of Muslims and non-Muslims, the latter of whom could be Fascists or Democrats or even both.

The alternative is for Europe to persist with its passive ways, tamely surrendering itself to a gradual transition to absolute Sharia Law and utter dhimmitude.

Either of these prospects should boil the blood of any freedom loving Westerner. For either prospect should mark the end of the West as we know it - and perhaps the beginning of the end of freedom too.

In many countries across Europe governments, whose agendas baffle any sane person, are attempting to make criticism of Islam and offence and make Islamophobia a hate crime, yet the Islamists themselves make threats, abuse, demand with menace and even murder, seemingly with approval from our multi-culture obsessed ruling elite.

The writing is on the wall for Western democracy, either we respond as liberals who believe in freedom and who will fight to protect it or we appease and encourage those who hate such values and allow them to conquer us.

Even here in Britain where groups such as the English Defence League, a movement born out of Islamic extremist’s attempts to disrupt a returning soldiers’ homecoming parade, are condemned for their marches and anti extremist stance by the authorities and their servants in the media, yet the Muslims Against Crusades thugs and their allies on the far left are treated with kid gloves and sucked up to by out of touch clergy and community leaders.

In reality, these silly ideological fools are far more dangerous than any foreign power, for even an invading army is unlikely to destroy a culture or nation’s identity whereas a totalitarian belief such as fundamentalist Islam is, will enforce its dogma upon a people or kill them.

Islam is often touted as meaning 'peace' but that is a blatant lie; it means 'submission' and in Islamic states across the world, submit is what you do, or die, and if you choose to practice your own religion, you are forced to pay a protection tax known as the Jizya.

The West must wake up and wake up fast or there will be terrible consequences to endure. Voting for cowards, and grovellers who see pandering to Muslims as a way to win votes and line their own pockets, are sounding the death knell for their own freedom and liberal values in society as a whole.

Conservatives, Labour and Lib Dems are parties full of those types of people.

The fear of history repeating itself and a rise in jackboot politics must not dissuade Europeans from defending their freedoms, or freedoms will be lost to another version of dictatorship, that of Islamic Fundamentalism.

FAMILIES WILL BE BETTER OFF OUT OF THE EU

THE average family would be much better off if we left the EU, according to a leading economist.

Professor Patrick Minford said living standards would rise as Britain enjoyed freedom from the "haven of regulation and state intervention" in Brussels. He suggested the UK will probably "detach itself to a large extent" from the EU over the coming decade.

But leaving altogether could mean cheaper food, clothing and other goods thanks to competition.

An economist at Cardiff Business School, Prof Minford said: "What the EU does is raise the prices of most things traded within Europe through protection given to its single market by trade arrangements.

"Cars, computers, clothes, machinery, food - all have their prices held up by the restrictions on imports from cheaper sources, often China, but also India, New Zealand and South Korea.

"Outside the EU the prices of what we buy would be the cheapest available in the world - our industries would sell their output on their capacity to meet world competition. We would all benefit from buying freely in the world market at world prices. Our living standards would rise."

He made his comments in the Julian Hodge Institute of Applied Macroeconomics quarterly review.

Critics argued it would be impossible to leave the EU without causing damage.

Labour peer Baroness Eluned Morgan of Ely said: "It is nonsense, because there is no doubt that we would lose jobs. Our relationship to the EU is fundamental to our economy."

"THEIR SILENCE IS DEAFENING"

Stacy Harris, who was a Labour councillor for Ibstock and Heather Ward on North West Leicestershire District Council, has resigned from the council and the Labour Party. She has complained in the strongest terms at the treatment she had from the Labour Group due to being a young councillor. She is particularly outspoken about Cllr Leon Spence, the leader of the Labour Group.

In an email to the Conservative council leader, Cllr Richard Blunt she writes:

"I have zero respect and loyalty for this Labour group, from day one they have treated me unfairly and differently. I have, recently been unable to attend some meetings due to working in the evenings. As a second year student at Loughborough University I am in no position financially to turn down any work and although I explained this to Leon Spence it was deemed that I was 'failing to communicate with the party'. Following this, Councillor Janet Ruff took it upon herself to investigate my past and private life, I informed Leon Spence of this but inevitably he got back to me stating I should resign as I 'could not commit to the role of councillor'. He then went on to contact Labour's regional office who wanted to organise a mediation session to which I refused due to being both busy with work and university work. Councillor Ruff then contacted me and proceeded to accuse me of several things, including being a liar and told me she had been 'trying to get to the truth' about me. I am sure you can understand how alarming it was for me to be directly told that someone had been looking into my personal life.

I told Leon Spence that Councillor Ruff should be reprimanded for the way she had behaved but instead he continued to ostracise me from the group and group campaigns. For instance, I had to hear of the recent car park campaign that happened in my ward via-Twitter. I am sure you're aware what these people are like but the way in which they have treated me is disgraceful. Not only do I hold no respect for this group I also hold no affinity to Labour as a party in general at all anymore. The group spouts that it wants younger, intelligent councillors and as soon as they get one they treat you like you're an idiot who is wet behind the ears. I have more experience than half of them put together.

I also wanted to email you as there will be a by-election and I know for a fact Spence will be seeking a candidate already. I hope you manage to put forward a candidate, I am by no means a Conservative but it would give me great pleasure to see this group brought down a peg or two. I'm sure I'm preaching to the converted but this district needs to know what a group of pompous, idiotic, self serving group of people they have elected. Following my resignation I have also withdrawn my party membership and wish to continue my life totally free of the world of politics. I would also like to say of Leon Spence, he is a manipulative 'Yes' man who has no charisma, no back bone and absolutely no conscience. He may know a lot of long words but he is a bumbling fool.

I am aware this email may be considered within the public domain but I am by no means particularly concerned if my words are repeated as I stand by everything I have said. I am very disappointed I could not serve this Council any longer, and I hope you understand my reasons why."

EU COURT SAYS ASYLUM SEEKERS CAN STAY

EUROPEAN Union judges provoked outrage last night by banning Britain from deporting asylum seekers back to Greece.

The European Court of Justice ruled that handing over would-be refugees could infringe their human rights.

Angry critics branded a “disgrace” and a “mockery” the decision which piles pressure on over-stretched frontier controls. Greece is a key entry point over EU borders for illegal immigrants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East heading for Britain.

It is feared the ruling could lead to an explosion in “asylum shopping”, where claimants make multiple applications to try to stay in the EU.

Tory MP Priti Patel said: “This decision is an absolute disgrace that flies in the face of common sense. Once again, European judges are making a mockery of human rights.”

Alp Mehmet, of the think-tank MigrationWatch, said: “This is the sort of absurdity that we have come to expect from the European courts. Common sense should be applied here, but they have failed to show any.

The row erupted yesterday when the Luxembourg court – the EU’s highest legal authority – upheld claims of asylum seekers in the UK and Ireland, including an Afghan who challenged being sent to Greece last July.

Thousands crossing the Turkish frontier into Greece are held in often degrading conditions in camps while claims are processed.

Tory James Clappison of the Commons Home Affairs Committee said the camps were “terrible” but insisted that Britain should not be penalised.

He added: “I question whether the court has any jurisdiction over Britain in this case.”

Tory Euro-MP Timothy Kirkhope, a former immigration minister, said the ruling was “extremely frustrating” and “unfair”.

He said: “This is another case of how well-intentioned human rights law is being interpreted to the detriment of those countries that play by the rules, such as the UK, whilst allowing countries that fail to meet their obligations to see little consequence.”

He added: “If the UK or France had such inadequate systems and poor asylum conditions as Greece then I have no doubt the European Commission would come down on us like a ton of bricks.

“Western European countries are not trying to return people to some African dictatorship.”

Immigration Minister Damian Green last night said: “We are working with Greece to improve their asylum processes.” The Court of Justice upheld the claim of the Afghan – identified only as “Mr NS” – against the British Government.

Whitehall insiders said transfers of asylum seekers to Greece had already been halted earlier this year in anticipation of the ruling.

Officials feared the Home Office could face a string of costly legal claims if they pressed ahead with deportations to Greece.

A UK Border Agency spokesman: “We will consider the detail of this judgment carefully.”

The European Court has repeatedly been accused of overreaching its jurisdiction by meddling in British law.

The 1951 Convention on Refugees requires refugees to seek asylum in the first “designated safe” country they enter.

The EU’s Dublin Regulation sets rules for states to use when assessing asylum applications. The European Court says itself that the system was conceived in a context assuming states observe the same standards. Now it is forced to admit they don’t.

Greece is an EU member and a signatory of the Charter on Fundamental Rights but has been ruled an unfit place for asylum seekers.

This is despite the fact that Greece is also a designated safe country under the 1951Convention.

Under a European Arrest Warrant any British citizen can be “judicially surrendered” to any EU state, including Greece, and held without a British court having the right to refuse extradition on the basis of evidence (or lack of it) against them.

One of my London constituents Andrew Symeou was extradited to Greece in 2009. He was held in hell-hole conditions for 11 months before finally being found not guilty on the evidence shown to the extraditing British court. Astonishingly, that evidence is not allowed to be considered during the extradition process.

Greece is considered too dangerous for asylum seekers but not dangerous enough for British citizens to be consigned to its prisons. British courts should repudiate yesterday’s judgment.

A nation that does not have power over its own laws and its own courts cannot be a free country.

That’s Lord Justice Davis handing enricher Ashtiaq Asghar, who killed 17 year old Laura Wilson, a life sentence with a minimum period of 17.5 years.

Ashtiaq had stabbed young Laura repeatedly in the head, and then thrown her into a canal to die whilst she was still alive.

The court was told that some of the injuries Laura sustained may have been as a result of Asghar using the knife to stop her from getting out of the canal.

Laura Wilson, aged 17 when she died, had been identified by Social Services as “being at risk of sexual exploitation by Pakistani men” when she was 12.

Despite this, all Social Services did was “carry out preventative work” – which sounds like slang for do nothing, let it continue, let’s not rock that racial harmony boat.

She became pregnant to married Muslim Ishaq Hussain, who was acquitted of involvement in her murder.

And, at just 17 she was dead, another victim on the road to enrichment.

We see it as a common factor, to borrow Justice Davis’ words – regard “white girls, simply as sexual targets. He does not treat them as human beings at all.”

Those kuffar never are – meat and an object, that’s the outlook of many enriching this land.

The white victims are, to borrow a term from history, considered as untermensch by the perpetrators.

Today we see another case ending in a long prison sentence, although he’ll be out before he’s 40 after a cushy stay with halal dinners no doubt – and another white girl dead.

How many more white girls will there be, perhaps not dead but with lives ruined?

You’ll never be told, it’s not a benefit of enrichment those in power would like us to know.

Hushed up, swept under the carpet, met with silence and denial – so many victims, deemed by officialdom a price that has to be paid and a nightmare that has to be kept quiet.

White girls as simply sexual targets – we’ll hear that a lot more in courts in years to come, and it’s just the tip of the iceberg. At least until they make it a hate crime to mention a white victim.

And, all the while, we’ll continue to say that there isn’t a problem, that enrichment is of universal benefit to our nation.

Where was the benefit to Laura and others like her, was she – are they – a price worth paying?

Poor old Archbishop Rowan Williams doesn’t really matter much.

This is because he’s a rather dull mainstream leftist, who talks about politics when he ought to be urging our neo-pagan country to return to Christianity. At the moment we’re more interested in shoes and booze than we are in God.

Since all three major political parties are also controlled by dull, conformist leftists, the Archbishop is superfluous when he enters the political arena. He is powerless in the material world. As we have seen in the past few months, he doesn’t even control his own cathedrals.

But when the Prime Minister talks about religion, it’s a different matter. Mr Cameron has the power to shift this country sharply towards Christianity.

All he needs to do is to dismantle the many anti-Christian laws which have attacked the faith over the past half-century – for example, instant divorce, mass giveaways of contraceptives to children, the teaching of promiscuity in schools, the licensing of greedy commerce on Sundays, plus of course the total abandonment of right and wrong by the justice system.

He won’t do any of those things. In fact, he’d sneer at anyone who sought to do so. So his creepy pose as a ‘committed Christian’ (committed to what?) last Friday is – like almost everything about this man – a brazen fraud on the public.

Of the two, I think I prefer the Archbishop, who promises nothing and delivers nothing, to a premier whose parcels, when we eagerly open them, are always empty. Oh, and Merry Christmas

Let's face it, the Conservatives hate miners; they always have, since the days of Bevan and Churchill.

Under the sinister witch Thatcher, vengeance was wrought upon the coalfields as repayment for the winter of discontent and the excuse that coal was running out was just another typical Tory lie.

What is left is a monument to testify to the hard work and courage of those men who toiled in awful conditions for what was a pittance, until the final few years of mining.

Snibston stands as a reminder to future generations of what life down pit was like, as well as being a museum to technology and travelling exhibitions.

It is quite rightly the most visited attraction in Leicestershire, a fascinating place for schoolchildren and tourists, although to me it is a ghost of the past, having been born in Margaret St myself and spending much of my early life watching the trains shunting up and down the line laden with coal.

Now it seems our caring Conservatives want rid of the memories too as they contrive to obliterate the last remnants of Coalville's industrious past, the heritage that built Leicester and gave fame to men like Stephenson and Smith.

In the world the Tories inhabit, nothing matters but money, although I doubt they will be shutting museums in Blue Rinse Melton or Market Harborough.

As a child I remember going with my great, great uncle to collect his pension from the building that sits alongside Ashby Road close to the old gates. That was in the fifties and later my own father worked at Snibston before it closed and he retired.

Everytime I walk or drive past those buildings, I think of those times and the men I knew who worked there.

Coalville has died a slow death since then and is a shadow of what it was.

The community spirit has gone and the pubs no longer enjoy the sounds of men whose lives were so connected with one another.

Coalville was apparently "the number one priority" for the new rulers when they assumed power for the first time in 2007.

If this is the best they can do, then let's hope they get the boot in 2015.

They have never liked Coalville simply because Coalville doesn't like them and no matter how many new homes they build here and newcomers they bring in, they will never be allowed to forget what their great idol did here.

A jealous husband is facing life in prison after chopping off his wife's fingers because she began studying for a degree without his permission.

Rafiqul Islam, 30, blindfolded his wife Hawa Akhter, 21, and taped her mouth, telling her he was going to give her a surprise present.

Instead he made her hold out her hand and cut off all five fingers. One of his relatives then threw Ms Akhter's fingers in the dustbin to ensure doctors could not reattach them.

Mr Islam, who is a migrant worker in the United Arab Emirates, had warned his wife there would 'severe consequences' if she did not give up her studies.

'After he came back to Bangladesh, he wanted to have a discussion with me,' Ms Akhter told The Times.

'Suddenly, he blindfolded me and tied my hand. He also taped my mouth saying that he would give me some surprise gifts. But, instead he cut off my fingers.'

Mohammed Saluddin, the Bangladesh police chief said that Mr Islam had confessed after he was arrested in the capital, Dhaka, and will face charges of permanent disfiguration.

Human rights groups are demanding life imprisonment.
'He was enraged. He was jealous because while he only had a grade eight standard education, she was off to college to pursue higher studies,' said Mr Saluddin.
Ms Akhter says she is learning to write with her left hand and is determined to resume her studies. She is now back at her parent's house.

The attack is the latest in a series of acts targeting educated women in the Muslim-majority country.

In June, an unemployed man gouged out the eyes of his wife, an assistant professor at Dhaka University, apparently because he could not stand her pursuing higher studies at a Canadian University.

Unemployment Reaches 2.64 million, highest in two decades

BRITAIN’S unemployment woes worsened yesterday as new figures showed the jobless total has soared to 2.64 million – the highest level in almost two decades.

The number of people without work rocketed by 128,000 as the UK slides towards a double-dip recession.

Grim figures delivered a pre-Christmas blow to the Government with youth and female unemployment showing the biggest rises and the number of people claiming Jobseeker’s allowance soaring for the ninth month in a row.

David Cameron was accused of betraying an entire generation as youth unemployment shot up to 1.03 million, the highest since records began in 1992.

The news comes as iconic travel giant Thomas Cook added to the gloom by announcing more than 661 job losses and 125 more shop closures while high street retailer La Senza called in the accountants to carry out a restructuring.

Employment fell by 63,000 in the quarter to October to 29.11 million, while the number of people working in the public sector dipped below six million for the first time since 2003.

The unemployment rate is now 8.3 per cent, up 0.4 per cent on the quarter – the highest since 1996 – while the jobless total is now worse than at any time since 1994Unemployment among 16 to 24-year-olds increased by 54,000 to 1.03 million, the highest since records began in 1992.

At the final Prime Minister’s questions of the year, Labour leader Ed Miliband said Mr Cameron was “betraying a whole generation of young people”.

Mr Cameron responded by insisting the private sector had created 581,000 jobs since the Coalition came to power, while 336,000 had been lost in the public sector. But he admitted it needed to grow “even faster”.

“The reason that unemployment is going up is because we are losing jobs in the public sector and we are not making them fast enough in the private sector,” he added.

As Mr Cameron spoke, activists from the Right To Work campaign staged a protest outside Downing Street.

The Office for National Statistics also reported that women’s unemployment shot up by 45,000 to 1.1 million, the highest figure since 1988.

Paul Kenny, General Secretary of the GMB union, said: “A double-dip Osborne recession, rising unemployment, rapidly falling living standards are the Tory/Lib Dem miserable Christmas gifts to the nation.”

Martina Milburn, chief executive of youth charity The Prince’s Trust said the latest figures revealed a gaping hole in the job market for young people.

The ONS figures showed that Jobseeker’s allowance claimants increased by 3,000 last month to 1.6 million.

The number of economically-inactive people, including students, those on long-term sick leave, looking after a relative, or who have given up looking for a job, fell by 54,000 to 9.33 million.

Public sector employment slipped by 67,000 in the third quarter of the year to 5.9 million, including 59,000 in local government and 9,000 in the civil service.Private sector employment increased by 5,000 to 23.1 million.

With her four-letter words and direct syntax, Emma West has truly focused the Leftist mind, for one remarkable aspect of the reaction to her critique of government immigration policy in Britain is the sudden regurgitation, in concentrated form, of Leftist clichés in support of the status quo.

For those of us who enjoy analysing those clichés, this reaction has simplified our work, since we now need only to look at any one single source to find them all helpfully collated for our convenience.

It hardly seems worth bothering responding to some of the most common assertions. The idea that Britain has a ‘tradition’ of welcoming every imaginable race because the island was invaded at various times by White folk with differently coloured hair is simply not a matter for serious debate.

So is the notion that being critical of immigrants and of the government-sponsored policy of immigration, diversity, and multiculturalism is the product of ignorance, bigotry, and delusional feelings of racial superiority. Like the notion that racial feelings are a disease cured through ‘education and love’, this is pure snobbery—the Leftist’s way of telling you that he thinks himself better than you. (It is always interesting how egalitarians are in fact great believers in hierarchy; the only difference between them and their opponents is that in egalitarianism, egalitarians are king.)

Leftist commentators who make reference to European colonialism in the effort to embarrass their White opponents are far more worthy of attention. When non-White commentators on the Left argue that Britain colonised Africa and Asia, ‘plundered their wealth’, and ‘oppressed’ the natives, they are effectively saying ‘you did it to us, so we’re now gonna do it to you!’, or more simply and accurately, ‘f**k you too!’—which is an interesting admission, is it not, that they are in the business of colonisation.

Equally interesting is the claim that Britain’s survival is to be credited entirely to immigrants, for this is not an argument, but an expectoration, it being simply a polite way of saying that British people are lazy and stupid.

Leftists also deny that there is such a thing as a British identity, or even such a thing as a White race, because of all those White people with different coloured hair that invaded—i.e., not welcomed into—the island over the centuries. These same Leftists would not deny that Indians have an identity, even though what we now call India is diverse and also the product of multiple invasions. When a White Leftist denies White identity, he is expressing self-hatred. When a non-White denies White identity, he is saying that Britain is for him nothing but a wallet—the natives are either a resource or an obstacle: a resource when they give money or change the laws to accommodate immigrants, an obstacle when they complain or prefer their own company.

There is a self-serving, self-reinforcing circularity in the Left’s denial of any European identity. They are quick to point out that the label ‘British’ comprises diverse people of diverse origin. This was true of any European nation state even when the continent was almost entirely White, but it was also the Left who pushed for a degree diversification that eventually rendered the ‘British’ label meaningless beyond a strictly legal sense. In essence, the Left manufactured the proof for its own argument, and then claimed the argument was correct because there was proof.

Circular reasoning characterises the conception of the legal process, contrived by the Left, that disenfranchises critics of immigration, diversity, and multiculturalism. A Leftist blogger, in a hate-filled open letter to Emma West, wrote

We have laws against your actions, and laws against your views, precisely because they are unacceptable in a civilised, multicultural, multi-ethnic, multi-racial society. The law sanctions them because they cannot and will not be tolerated in Britain.

This translates into: ‘you’re a criminal because we say so, and we say so because you’re a criminal’.

Self-serving, self-reinforcing circularity and circular reasoning also characterises the Left’s conception of government involvement in race relations: ‘anti-racist’ government policy is treated by the Left as external legitimation of their ‘anti-racism’, but the government is Leftist, ideologically if not nominally, so legitimation is not external but internal: the Left claims legitimacy on the basis that it has legitimated itself.

Much of the pontification from the Left has been hideously self-serving and mean-spirited. At best, commentators have used the incident to push for concessions: the White Leftists want to move forward with their experiment, and flagellate themselves some more; non-Whites want a completely open and unrestricted society where Whites have zero racial consciousness and place zero value on their heritage and identity. At worst, snobbish commentators, even politicians, have publicly gloated and indulged their cruelty by kicking the dog that’s already down.

It bears pointing this out: Emma West has already been publicly insulted and humiliated, arrested, deprived of her child, and remanded into custody; she will spend Christmas and New Years in a cell, where she will be at risk of attacks by coloured inmates. If convicted, she will spend up to two years in prison, after which her conviction will remain on her record for five years, barring her from a number of professions and making employment even more difficult. If she has credit card or other debts, she will face serious financial pressure. Note that not once did she use a racial slur.

Lashing out against random coloured folk on a tram will of course yield negative results. Yet just because some citizens express themselves less well than others, it does not mean their concerns are in all cases illegitimate and to be ignored—the sheer popularity of the video and the volume of commentary it has elicited from all quarters alone attests to the fact that Emma West has voiced what is in the minds of many—including, because she fits their narrative of omnipresent White racism, the non-White media professionals who have commentated on the issue (see here and here). Some working class folk know no other way to communicate their frustrations, and they certainly enjoy fewer options than most in a system where they, and not the Blacks or the postcolonial media commentators, are the subaltern.

Moreover, can those who are in the business of colonising our continent, pushing for permanent structural changes in their favour, including laws that disadvantage the natives, really expect not to experience at least some hostility? Even the diverse White invaders of yesteryear were fiercely resisted, despite being closely related members of the race. This is not to say that throwing cans and shouting slurs at Pakistanis passing by is a good way to behave; we may call such behaviour ignoble—un-Aryan. This is not to say, either, that all of those who do not trace their ancestors to Europe are in the business of colonising the continent; in some cases they, or their fathers, or their grandfathers were born here, and this is all they know. This is to say, rather, that resisting and expressing one’s rage at the present push for colonisation, especially by strangers who despise our culture, harbour historical resentments, and / or have a purely instrumental relationship to our society, is normal, moral, and legitimate, and this may affect not only the White politicians, mediacrats, and academics who are the instruments of colonisation, and who truly deserve our venom, but also those pushing to transform our living space to make it amenable for them. The expectation that Whites be pliant, cooperative, complicit, and enthusiastic about their dispossession and replacement is silly, perverse, and unjust, and we owe it to ourselves oppose it and provide appropriate means of channelling the rage.

THE TRUTH ABOUT OUR LIBERAL ELITE AND RACE CRIME

Our ruling elite are so deluded by the ideology of cultural diversity that they have lost the ability to protect the innocent and punish the guilty.

That is the only conclusion to be drawn from the outrageous leniency shown by a court this week towards a gang of Somalian Muslim women who savagely beat up a white woman in Leicster city centre. In a brutal, unprovoked assault, the thugs knocked Rhea Page to the ground, then repeatedly kicked in the head while calling her a “white bitch” and “white slag”.

Ms Page, who was so traumatised by the incident that she has lost her job as a carer for people with learning disabilities, later said: “I thought they were going to kill me.”

Incredibly, despite the ferocity of the attack, the judge gave the girls only suspended sentences, even though he could have jailed them for up to five years.

His bizarre decision came after the defence told him that the Muslim assailants had been drinking and were “not used to being drunk” because of their religion.

As a cause for mitigation, this is absurd. Why on earth should Muslims be treated any differently to other offenders, simply on the grounds of their faith?

If they are so pious, so respectful of Islamic rituals, why were they drinking in the first place? And shouldn’t their drunkenness in public, an offence in itself, have added to the seriousness of their crime rather than lessened it?

Just as troubling was the failure of the authorities to charge the gang with racially-aggravated assault. For nothing could be more racially abusive than their barbaric cry of “kill the white bitch”.

We can be pretty sure that if a Somalian Muslim girl had been kicked to the ground by a group of white brutes, the Crown Prosecution Service and the Police would have taken a tougher approach.

The disgraceful message of this episode is that Muslims can get drunk and maim almost with impunity because the state is so craven about their creed.

The case makes a mockery of the idea of equality before the law - one of the cornerstones of liberal democracy.

The reluctance to imprison Ms Page’s attackers is so indicative of the supine, guilt-ridden mindset of our modern ruling class, where cowardice is dressed up as cultural sensitivity and self-loathing masquerades as tolerance.

This mentality, which is tearing apart the moral bonds of our civilisation, can be seen all around us. A classic recent example was the police’s initial paralysing feebleness towards the rioters last August because of fears about accusations of racism.

The same is true of the hesitancy in tackling so-called “honour” attacks on women in Muslim communities.

Only last week, it was revealed that the total of these appalling incidents, some of them fatal, is approaching 3,000 a year.

In a similar vein, the police and social services have long been terrified of talking openly about the growing problem of Pakistani gangs preying on white girls in northern towns.

As Detective Inspector Alan Edwards, an expert in the field, has said, “Everyone’s been too scared to address the ethnicity factor.”

In the twisted world of our civic institutions, minorities are always seen as victims.

Even the worst behaviour of some in their communities is excused by references to poverty or racism or social exclusion.

That certainly applies to the Somalian community in Britain, who are constantly presented one of the most oppressed groups in the country.

But, in truth, the oppression can work the other way. Too many Somalians have become a burden on the British taxpayer, thanks to their welfare dependency.

Over 80 per cent of them, for instance, live in taxpayer-funded homes. Moreover Somalian gangs, most of them peddling drugs, have helped to create a climate of fear in parts of our cities through their enthusiasm for violence and contempt for the law.

As one Somalian youth from the notorious Woolwich Boys says, “We’ve come over here with one thing on our mind – money. We don’t care how we get it. The Government doesn’t stand a chance.”

Tremendous double standards are at work over race crime. Racial killings of whites are frequently downplayed or forgotten.

The name of Kriss Donald is almost unknown today, yet the circumstances of his death could hardly have been more horrific.

In March 2004, while walking through Glasgow, the 15-year-old schoolboy was kidnapped by a Pakistani gang, dragged to open land, tortured, stabbed 13 times and set on fire while he was still alive.

Fortunately the gang was caught and convicted, but this monstrous crime provoked no great outpouring of moral anguish.

Peter Fahy, one of Britain’s leading chief constables, once said that political correctness means it is “harder to get the media interested” when the victims are “young white men”.

The British establishment is guilty of nothing less than reverse racism. Their members, from judges to politicians, think they are enlightened and compassionate. But in truth they are filled with prejudice.

For often they refuse to expect the same standards of civilised behaviour from certain minorities that they demand of the indigenous population.

Such a perverted outlook is the opposite of equality. In the name of anti-racism, they have ended up in the bizarre position of promoting discrimination.

That is no way to achieve the integration and cohesion that our society so badly needs.

WE PAY FOR EU LOANS MADNESS

BRITAIN is facing a colossal bail-out bill to cover “suicidal” EU loans to ailing Italy and Greece.

Brussels’ finance arm is still lending billions of euros for projects like improving Rome’s underground train network and Greece’s energy grid.

But the UK must cover 16p in every pound the European Investment Bank loses should the nations fail to repay, as is likely.

That would see Britain picking up a £450million bill for loans in 2011 alone, including £128million for just an extra mile of Rome’s rail track. Debts for other years’ loans would run into billions.

Ukip’s economics spokesman Godfrey Bloom said: “It’s irresponsible for the EIB to continue handing out suicidal loans for projects these countries simply can’t afford.

“And it’s outrageous the UK taxpayer is again bailing out the type of lend-and-spend policies which got us into this mess.”

The EIB, run by EU states and with George Osborne among its governors, said: “We don’t speculate about economic circumstances of member states.”

The figure – the difference between those coming in to the UK minus those leaving – was 252,000 last year, as emigration dropped while immigration remained at unsustainable levels.

The data, which shatters the Government’s promise to slash immigration, comes as the UK’s population races towards 70 million.

Experts say that fewer people have left the country because it’s harder to land a job overseas.

But the analysis shows the number coming here from eastern Europe has continued to rise, despite claims it had tailed off in the recession.

The Office for National Statistics said immigration remained steady at 591,000 in 2010.

This is seen by critics as a legacy of Labour’s open-door policy.

But it also comes after David Cameron pledged the coalition Government would cut net migration from the hundreds of thousands to the tens of thousands by 2015.

Downing Street said the Prime Minister was still committed to his promise. But Sir Andrew Green of campaign group MigrationWatch UK said: “At over a quarter of a million in 2010, net migration was the highest it has ever been.

“It was more than five times the level of 1997 when Labour came to power. It is absolutely vital to get this down to less than 40,000 if we are to keep our population below 70 million.”

Emigration of British citizens was at its lowest since 1998, at 136,000. And overall, emigration was at its lowest for 10 years with just 339,000 people leaving the UK.

Emigration for work also fell to its lowest level since 2006, reflecting the global economic downturn.

The previous record high for net migration was 245,000 in 2004.

The ONS figures show that net migration from the eight central and eastern European EU nations increased.

Education remains the most common reason for people to come to the UK. About 238,000arrived to study here during 2010, the highest calendar year figure on record.

Immigration Minister Damian Green put on a brave face over the controversial issue.

He said: “Latest quarterly figures show a decrease in the number of student and work visas issued compared to a year earlier – an early sign that our policies are starting to take effect. The latest net migration figures are also encouraging, showing a fall since the recent peak in September 2010, but we are clear there is much more to be done.

“That’s why I will be announcing reforms to settlement and the family route which will help bring net migration down from the hundreds of thousands to the tens of thousands over the course of this parliament.”

Experts at Oxford University’s Migration Observatory said yesterday’s figures showed the Government would have to cut non-EU migration by 70 per cent to meet its target, unless fewer Europeans arrived and more people left.

Dr Martin Ruhs, director of the Migration Observatory, said: “This is not the news the Government wanted to hear.

“The latest figures tell us that EU-net migration, which the Government cannot control, is increasing.

“This means even deeper cuts to non-EU net migration are necessary to reach the target of the tens of thousands.”

Dr Ruhs added: “Focusing on net migration as a single metric to demonstrate the success or failure of policy is problematic as it makes the Government hostage to fortune.”

Shadow immigration minister Chris Bryant took a swipe at the Tories, including Home Secretary Theresa May.

He said: “These figures just go to show you can’t trust what this Government and the Home Secretary say about immigration.

“The latest net migration figures up to March 2011 show a 10 per cent increase on the same period last year.

“And despite the protestations from the Home Secretary that her summer ‘pilot’ of relaxed controls was a success, we now know the number of non-asylum seekers caught and refused entry at UK ports went down by 12 per cent this summer compared to last summer.

“The Government needs to come clean immediately about what really happened in this pilot.”

‘DISGRACE’ OF BRITAIN’S 25,000 WINTER DEATHS

MORE than 25,000 people died because of freezing temperatures during last winter’s Arctic blast, official figures show.

The number was 110 fewer than last year, but while death rates for people aged over 75 fell, the figure for younger people increased.

Yesterday Michelle Mitchell, Age UK’s charity director, called the 25,700 winter deaths a “disgrace”.

She said: “We like to think of ourselves as a civilised society which protects the most vulnerable but the numbers of older people who do not survive the winter here is far higher than most European countries where the weather is far colder.

"In the UK there are still over 200 excess deaths a day, a figure which should make us all ashamed. These are the tip of an iceberg of illness, misery and anxiety which grips Britain every winter.”

Wales recorded a 20 per cent excess winter death rate, which was higher than the average in England of 16 per cent, according to the Office of National Statistics.

In the North-east the winter mortality rate rose by 300 to 1,400 compared to a non-winter death rate of 3.4 per cent. There were also increases in London (one per cent), Yorkshire and the Humber (0.9 per cent) and the East Midlands (0.8 per cent).

But five areas saw rates fall, they include South West (2.7 per cent), East (2.2 per cent), South East (1.2 per cent), West Midlands (0.8 per cent) and North West (0.7 per cent).

Hypothermia was not the main cause of the additional deaths, although they were linked to low temperatures.

Instead circulatory diseases and respiratory diseases accounted for many of the deaths. There were more excess deaths among women than men. Last year, 11,200 men and 14,400 women died

Does the European Union have an Expiry Date?

A veritable re-engineering of the entire planet has been taking place in front of our eyes for many decades now. However, since it is gradual, most people do not notice or understand what is happening.

Just like the proverbial frog that if thrown into boiling water painfully jumps out and survives, but will be cooked and die if thrown into lukewarm water where the heat rises one degree every 5 minutes…

What goes under the name of “New World Order”, “Globalization” or (my favourite) “World Government” describes the long-term objectives of a highly powerful Global Power Elite embedded inside every country, notably the US and Europe, that owns, operates and channels every country’s resources – oil, finance, economic strength, military prowess, natural resources – from inside to promote their supranational agenda.

This highly complex, holistic and extensively planned process helps explain much (if not all) of the on-going violence, chaos and injustice we see in the realms of finance, politics and the economy. But good strategic planning also requires experimentation, trial and error, scenario building and war games.
Argentina (and Latin America as a whole), have been repeatedly used for such “experimentation”, as happened here ten years ago when the international banking cartel aligned to the IMF/World Bank, US Treasury Department, rating agencies and the “qualified” mainstream media, worked together to collapse Argentina’s financial and monetary system, but at the same time managed to save all their banks that operated in the country.

Argentines saw their money locked up in the banks, their Dollar deposits were arbitrarily changed into local devalued pesos at fraudulent rates of exchange as local Caretaker Governments (to this very day) take measures always aligned to local and international banker interests.

The results for Argentina? GDP fell by 40% in 2002; 50% of our population fell below the poverty line (most never made it back up again); violence and death on our streets, foreclosures, bankruptcies, full-fledged social war (that stopped just short of civil war) and yet…. not one single bank folded!
If we fast-forward to Greece, Ireland, Italy, Spain, the US, UK, Portugal and Iceland today, we see the same scene over and over again. Clearly, not mistakes made by specific governments, but a veritable model designed to control whole nations imposing unnecessary and fraudulent public debts.

One of the key lessons they learned in Argentina was how to control “We the People” through PsyWar (Psychological Warfare) exerted by the controlled media so that the population ends up accepting all the hardship, whilst the banker and government perpetrators get to keep all the money and stay in power.

I wonder whether the European Union might not be a similar experiment but on a much vaster and grander scale? An experiment on how to bring very different countries with different languages, legal systems, cultures, histories of war and hatred amongst them, all under a straight-jacket of bureaucratic union that increasingly sweeps away national sovereignties? A sort of “How To” on promoting voluntary submission by the EU’s 27 member states to accept one legal bureaucracy, one parliament, one unelected president, one military force, one flag, and one currency…

What lessons are Globalists learning from the troubles of the EU? Are today’s growing Euro-woes a reflection of the fact that, after more than half a century of Euro-building we now see the controlled demolition of the EU in order to (re)build it into something new? Perhaps, “moulding it into something closer to their heart’s desire”, as the old 19th Century British Fabian Society urging gradual socialist world government once envisioned?
Is the EU an intermediate stage on the “Hard Road to World Government” suggested by Council on Foreign Relations member Richard Gardner in a seminal April 1974 article in “Foreign Affairs”? A stage in which legal, political, trade, financial, social, cultural, media, monetary, military and so many, many other complexities have been iron-out, re-designed and re-tooled to serve a “greater purpose”?

Will we soon see the break-up of the Euro, not as an unfortunate “accident” but as a planned mega-process which (together with the hyper-inflated US Dollar) will be allowed to tailspin into a controlled collapse only to be replaced by a new global currency issued and managed by Global Power Elite private interests from a coming world central bank of some sort? Does the EU have an Expiry Date?

"We Will Hold You to Account”

Below is the speech given at today’s demonstration at Generatorstraat in Amsterdam by the British author and former Parliamentary candidate Paul Weston.

Hello. My name is Paul Weston, and I represent the International Free Press Society.

And I am standing here today because our liberal elites have betrayed our countries to Islam.

Forty-two years ago the British politician Enoch Powell made his famous “Rivers of Blood” speech, in which he stated that “The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils.”

Our politicians today do the exact opposite. They actively promote a preventable evil.

But eighty years ago one man, Winston Churchill, was very clear about preventing a clear and present evil, Herr Hitler and the Nazis. But Churchill was a lone voice crying in the wind of appeasement, and the carnage that could have been avoided came with a vengeance.

And today Europe finds itself in much the same position. Even as Islam grows demographically, territorially, and militantly, it is promoted as the “religion of peace” by the same type of cowardly, careerist politicians who once appeased Hitler.

Islam was not the religion of peace to Winston Churchill. He described it as the religion of blood and war.

Anyone with a knowledge of the foundations and history of Islamic expansion knows this to be the truth.

Mohammed was a warlord. And a very good warlord indeed. By the time of his death he had militarily defeated and converted most of the pagan and Christian tribes of the Arabian Peninsula.

After his death Islam rapidly expanded at the point of a sword, defeating ancient civilisations and overrunning continents as it did so.

And today it is within Europe, it is within the West, and it is calling for what it has always called for: total Islamic domination. And if we wish to resist, then they will use terror against us.

Yet still our treasonous politicians call it the “religion of peace”, and tell us that if we refuse to share such a fantastical and ridiculous notion, that if we choose to believe Winston Churchill’s argument that Islam is a religion of blood and war, then we will be sent to prison.

Of course it is not a religion of peace. Its founder was a warrior, and the highest honour bestowed upon a Muslim is the promise of hordes of scented houris and an eternal leg-over in the after life, achievable not by being a good Samaritan, but by dying as a martyr in the physical battle to expand imperialist Islam.

Islam literally means submission. What kind of a religion can possibly call itself submission?

Islam divides the world into two spheres. The House of Islam (submission) and the House of War. What kind of religion defines itself by military conquest?

Yet our leaders tell us we cannot criticise Islam because it is a religion, whilst the organisation of the Islamic conference, in cahoots with the united nations is striving to make any criticism of Islam illegal.

But Islam is so much more than just a religion. It is a political, social, legal and structural blueprint which totally dominates a devout Muslim’s life, and wishes coincidentally to dominate all devout non-Muslims’ lives as well.

It is profoundly illiberal and it is profoundly undemocratic. It does not believe in the man-made laws of democracy, preferring instead to adhere to the absolute word of Allah, as interpreted by an illiterate 7th-century desert dweller.

And our politicians have imported this illiberal and undemocratic ideology into the liberal democracies than make up the West, and then they dare to criminalise us when we object to this!

But how can we not criticise Islam? Can our politicians really protect it as a religion and therefore place it out of legal reach?

When homosexuals are hung from cranes, is this political Islam in action or religious Islam?

When adulterous women are buried up to their shoulders in sand and stoned to death, is this political Islam or religious Islam?

When Muslims who wish to leave Islam are issued with death sentences, is this political Islam, or is this religious Islam?

When wives and daughters are slaughtered to protect their families’ honour by husbands fathers and uncles, is this political Islam or religious Islam?

If it is political, then it must be denounced as evil and barbaric. If it religious, how can it possibly not be denounced as the same? What is evil is evil and what is barbaric is barbaric and cannot be exempted from criticism because it is sheltered by the word “religion”.

In criminalising free speech, our socialist leaders reveal their dictatorial ambition. The mark of a free society is freedom of speech. To take this away is a totalitarian act, made all the worse because freedom of speech is our only defence in the peaceful opposition against the foreign totalitarian ideology of Islam.

And I hope this irony is not lost on you. In order to protect and advance a foreign totalitarian ideology, our own rulers are prepared to adopt native totalitarian means to stop us defending our democracy and our freedom.

The West lives in accordance with the European Convention on Human Rights. Islam does not. They signed up instead to the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam.

But they have a very important caveat: when sharia law collides with human rights law, guess which law prevails?

Quite so. Sharia is the top trumps when it comes to human rights.

This is like a signatory to the Geneva convention murdering and torturing prisoners of war, and being given a pass at a war trial because it was “part of their religion.”

And when our politicians today excuse Islam as a religion of peace and allow them to set the rules both at home, at the European Union, and at the United Nations, then our politicians are betraying their countries and they are betraying their people. They are committing treason.

“Can one commit treason in a time of peace?” people may ask. But are we really at peace?

We may not consider ourselves at war with Islam, but Islam considers itself at war with us.

And it is a war we are losing. Territorially, demographically, politically, and democratically.

In fact, it is a war of aggression on two fronts. Radical Islam on the one, and left-wing treason on the other.

Our children are told to celebrate multiculturalism and Islam, without being told the real history of violent expansionist Islam.

Instead, they are told that their own history, their religion, their culture, their traditions, their very being, is just a litany of imperialism, racism, murder and slavery. This is a proven psychological technique designed to render an enemy helpless, or to quote Alexander Solzhenitsyn, “in order to destroy a people, you must first sever their roots.”

Any government that does this to its own people, to its own children, is a government that deserves, manifestly deserves, to be overthrown.

Can anyone really argue that a government that praises the foreign invader whilst psychologically and legally stripping away the defences of its people is a government that is not guilty of treason?

Now here we come to a more uplifting part of this depressing monologue, because in this part of the battle we are advancing. Slowly, admittedly, but relentlessly, and I think we are now unstoppable.

Geert Wilders here in the Netherlands, René Stadtkewitz in Germany, whose immediate popularity caused Angela Merkel to make an abrupt U-turn and denounce Multiculturalism.

The Sweden Democrats, Heinz-Christian Strache in Austria, the Swiss People’s Party, and in England we await a political movement to pick up the baton from the rapidly growing English Defence League.

And that growth can only accelerate. As more and more people become aware of Islam and become aware of the depth of treason perpetrated by their liberal rulers, and most importantly, as people lose their fear of being labelled a racist — which was a label specifically designed to strip us of resistance against a racially designated invader who uses race as a weapon.

In fact, let us deal with this “racist” label right now. It is not racist to defend your country against an obvious and growing threat. It is not racist to defend your culture, your heritage, and your traditions. It is not racist to work to ensure a democratic future for your children and grandchildren.

If you choose not to defend your country, your culture and the democratic future of your children, then you may well pat yourselves on the back in your non-racist champagne socialist cocktail bars in Islington; you may well love other people’s anti-racist credentials almost as much as you love your own; but there is no getting away from the label I have for you.

You are a traitor and a betrayer of your country, a betrayer of your culture, and a betrayer of our yet unborn children.

And you are a racist, indeed a genocidal racist. Young native Europeans will become a demographic ethnic minority within their own homelands if immigration rates and birth rates stay the way they are for just one more generation.

This can politely be called population replacement. More crudely, it is bloodless genocide.

The United Nations is very clear on this. Their definition of genocide is as follows. Quote.

Article 2.

In the present convention genocide means any of the acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, racial or religious group.

We have been betrayed.

And one of the saddest aspects of this betrayal is the effect it has had on those old ex-warriors who fought for their countries in recent living memory.

Ex-Spitfire pilot Alex Henshaw died three years ago. He was acutely aware of the political betrayal of his country. He said:

“I feel extreme emotional sadness for the young men I knew that gave their lives willingly for a cause in which we all believed. And I often say to myself that if those young boys would come down now and walk through the villages, through the towns and through the cities and look around and see what is happening to us, they would say somewhere along the line we have been betrayed.”

Yes, Mr. Henshaw, I am afraid you have, and all of you socialist/liberal/left-wing people need to know what you have done.

You need to take a walk around your cities, towns and villages, take a look at the hundreds of thousand of graves standing as testament to the ultimate sacrifice made by our young men in order that you may live in a liberal democracy today.

You need to understand that this a not just betrayal, but a triple betrayal:

The betrayal of all our old soldiers whose sacrifice granted us freedom,

The betrayal of my generation who you threaten to imprison if we defend our inherited freedom, and

The betrayal of our yet unborn, who, unless we stop it seem set to inherit a country racked with tribal and religious hatred, which must inevitably lead to a continental scale multicultural war that will make the break-up of Yugoslavia look like a bun-fight.

And, of course, it is also the betrayal of freedom and democracy.

Because freedom and democracy did not just magically appear. They evolved over two and a half thousand years, rooted in Greco-Roman Judeo-Christian ancestry. And were fought for and defended with much blood and sacrifice.

Democracy and freedom are not the personal possessions of socialist politicians to be handed away, without our agreement, to the descendants of a 7th century desert warlord, who view our attachment to democracy as just a weakness to be used against us.

I do not blame Islam. Fundamentalist Muslims are just doing what it says in the book.

But I do blame our politicians. There are two sides in this civilisational stand-off, and our politicians have sided with the enemy.

So I say to them:

You may well hold the levers of power at the moment, but we are on the rise and we are unstoppable. Do you seriously think you can do what you have done to your own people without repercussion?

You could stop this now if you chose to, by the simple expedient of putting the interests of your own people before the interests of Islam.

But you won’t do that will you? So you put us in an almost impossible position. If we do nothing we must accept our children and grandchildren will one day live under sharia law.

And if we do something, then it must by definition be revolutionary. But we did not start this. You did. Most of us would have been quite happy to mow the lawn, hold down a mundane job, and pay our taxes.

You have made us revolutionaries. And whilst your behaviour suggests you fear Islam more than you fear us, let me tell you something, you lying, betraying, treacherous, socialist careerists:

We might not hold power today, but given another decade, we will, and then we will hold you to account. You will appear before a Nuremberg-style court, and you will be tried for treason, and you will be tried for crimes against humanity, and for the first time in a very long time you will be answerable to us!

The UN And It's Socialist Agenda Exposed Yet Again

When I meet people who ask me about my politics, I try to convince them that Socialism is in fact Communism for the rich and that equality means the poor all have nothing whilst the rich prosper. This may be a bit simplistic but with the level of education now available to the peasantry, any mention of Fabians or Constitutional Rights goes over their heads.

If I asked ten people what UNESCO is I would bet that no more than one would know the answer. If I asked ten people what the role of the Monarch is, I would guess that ten don't know the full answer. If I asked what the Act of Settlement is, I would guess that five would think it was an immigration policy and another four wouldn't have heard of it. If I asked who was the King of England at the Battle of Crecy, nine wouldn't know where Crecy was or who the King was. If I asked who Nelson Mandela is, I would confidently put my house on nine knowing.

Such is the treachery of our policy makers.

Treason isn't uniquely British as you will see below.

SPAIN NEXT AS THE DOMINOES BEGIN TO FALL

The sacred Euro lunges from crisis to crisis and at each stage, another of its enthusiastic parent countries sees its economy plunge into dire straights.

Spain is now teetering on the brink with borrowing going beyond the 7% threshold and as it stares into the abyss we are left wondering how long it will be before the prime mover and chief benefactor from the scam that is the EU, France, will follow suit.

Those that have already overshot their ability to repay the debt incrued have seen Prime Ministers and Presidents resign only to be replaced by bankers of the Bilderberg flavour, which makes us wonder if that was the plan from the beginning.

Those with a sceptical nature have warned of the New World Order and its plan for world government, well now it is happening in full view of the willing slaves that continue to support the evil by ignoring it, or allowing the brainwashing tactics that the elite use to convince the gullible people that the EU is 'for the best' and has been a means to keep the peace in Europe for half a century.

Total and absolute bullshine of course but until the population takes an interest in reality and leaves fantasy tv behind, we are stuck with it.

The only way is out and the sooner the better for all concerned.

Bankers Tightening Their Grip On The World

It seems bankers are taking over politics in Europe, financial analyst Max Keiser told RT, adding that this trend could lead to global banking domination.
“We cannot get rid of these zombie bankers, we can’t kill them,” said Keiser, host of RT’s Keiser Report. “Iceland thought they had killed off their zombie terrorist bankers, but they have risen again and are now sticking Iceland. They are a plague around the world, and certainly in Europe. There are no elections, but they are putting bankers in charge to bring back total banking domination as the world goes down the slippery slope into banker hell.”

Keiser told RT these former bankers’ main agenda is to create more debt.

“In the eurozone they have an opportunity to bring all the balance sheets of all the countries together and create new lending facilities like EFSF which is a new 5 trillion euro lending facility, and they want to build on that to create 10-20 trillion euro lending facilities, because bankers get paid on how much debt they create. More austerity measures bring about more debt, and that brings more fees for bankers and more financial terrorism,” he explained.

According to Keiser a very small elite continues to benefit from the disastrous situation in the eurozone, which continues these same ploys that it has carried out over the last few years.

“There used to be a thing called moral hazard where if banks took risk, they would be at some point penalized by the system, but now the more risk they take the greater the rewards they get,” he pointed out. “JP Morgan is now going to step in front of the allocated accounts of customers and actually steal money from their accounts. We haven’t seen this level of larceny and theft since the Nazis stole assets from people in Germany in the 30s. This is outrageous, this has not been done in decades. There are no regulations in place at all! Interest rates are zero per cent, so I expect more of the same,” he added.

According to Keiser, this means the financial elite work together with the European Central Bank and keep interest rates near zero per cent, because this allows them to fund their speculative investments at zero cost.

“They don’t want to spend any money to borrow money and put outrageous bets on the table. Every time they lose a bet, then they impose more austerity measures. Every time they win a bet, they keep 100 per cent of the profit,” he claimed.

He also stressed that putting bankers in political positions resembles the behavior of someone who has been a victim of crime.

“People keep saying the bankers know best. But the bankers are the ones who have stolen all the money, so are we going to give them more ability to steal more money and impose more austerity measures? But that is insane,” Keiser concluded.

Paolo Raffone, founder of a Brussels-based non-profit organization, the Chipi network, told RT the eurozone has been pushed too quickly as part of the European project.

“The original idea was to have a monetary union pushing a political union. But as we see the political union has never been built because it was not the will of the people to build it. And the monetary union is shaking,” he explained.

He also added the eurozone will have a new setup in future, even if all the current EU and eurozone members get together again.

“The way the union is functioning will be different, otherwise it may split up,” he added.

Remembrance Day in Coalville

Yet another excellent turnout at the Coalville Remembrance Day. Several hundred marched from the Christ Church, where the vicar made a sarcastic reference to the HMS Belfast incident, to the Memorial Square where the impressive clock tower serves as a prominent reminder of the sacrifices made in both World Wars.

People lined the route on both sides of the road and a large assembly was already present when the parade reached the square.

The weather was unusually mild for Remembrance Day which may have helped but this was possibly the largest gathering of Coalville folk in my memory.

Among the crowd were many nationalists from as far away as Hinckley and Leicester but none of our BNP friends managed to make the trip from what I could see.

Never mind though, if they have somewhere better to go, all well and good, although I suspect it was more to do with divided loyalty than anything else.

Sweden, A Nation In Denial En Route To Destruction

Remembrance Day 11/11/2011

This year will be fairly unique in that Remembrance Day Ceremony will occur on 11/11/11/11.
The main services will of course be held on the Sunday which this year will fall on a Sunday, the 13th at 11am but it is always an honour to attend both ceremonies where the day differs from the date.

Coalville people always turn out in large numbers for their service around the Clock Tower in Memorial Square and this year will be no different.

As always there will be a large contingent of nationalists within the gathering. The differences within the movement must be set aside and this is a chance to catch up with old comrades to discuss our problems over a pint or two once the service and parade are finished.

NW Leicestershire welcomes you all for the solemn task of remembering the fallen.

MP Mike Freer 'threatened at mosque surgery'

An MP has described how he waited for police behind a locked door during a constituency surgery after he was threatened by a group of men.

Mike Freer said it happened at North Finchley mosque in north London as he met constituents on Friday afternoon.

Mr Freer said about 12 people forced their way inside, with one of them calling him a "Jewish homosexual pig".

The trouble began after messages on the Muslims Against Crusades website urged supporters to target him, he said.

Mr Freer said a message posted ahead of the incident on the group's website made reference to Labour MP Stephen Timms, who was stabbed while holding a surgery in east London last year.

It warned the attack on Mr Timms should serve as a "piercing reminder" to politicians that "their presence is no longer welcome in any Muslim area".

The Finchley and Golders Green MP, a member of the Conservative Friends of Israel, said there was a vocal demonstration outside the mosque as he began his surgery, but then a second group of people arrived and forced their way inside.

"One of them sat at a table where I was dealing with a constituent and was abusive," he said.

The MP said he was then escorted by staff at the mosque to a locked part of the building until assistance arrived.

The moron who leads Britain today said that we should not be thinking about quitting the European Union right now when it is in deep trouble, comparing it to a neighbour's house being on fire and stating that we should stay and fight the blaze, not run away because our own house may then catch fire.

What this idiot doesn't understand is that our neighbours are our competition for jobs and wealth, not our loyal friends who would lay down their lives for us. Does he not realise that every penny we give them, is a penny we lose ourselves and it's not just a penny, it's £45 million every day.

We should be competing for trade, not handing it away to countries where they retire at fifty five and drag £200 a week for doing nothing.

The Eurozone is in deep trouble, the banks are asking for more, as they always do and guess which buffoon will propose we give to them.

Now is the time to get out, while we are ahead in the game, not wait to be dragged down by them. Their economies are not all the same and they should not share a common currency as if they are.

Cameron says this is the wrong time but he can't tell us why. I know why, it's because he is set to lose his payoff if Britain quits.

I say stuff Europe, we are a capable nation and we can stand on our own two feet. If I am worse off, and I'm damn certain I won't be, I don't care, I would rather be in poverty than run by Brussels.

Federalism encourages sloth in nations, we want aggression, and confidence to build our own economy by being better than the competition.

The people of Britain want a Referendum on our membership of the corrupt and power crazy European Union.

The Conservatives campaigned on the promise that if they were elected in 2007, they would give the people that chance.

Four years on and they have the power they desperately craved for and now choose to forget that promise.

Cameron said only a couple of weeks ago that we people didn't want a referendum, we want reform - how does he know without asking.

Now the time has come to deliver on their promise, but they know what the answer will be, so they are desperately trying to avoid that answer.

Cameron has resorted to that old favourite trick, bullying by introducing the Whip, but any MP worth his salt will ignore that and do as his constituents ask and vote to give us the vote.

We don't want a referendum on a referendum we want a referendum on our membership and if we don't get it there will be a price to pay for all those cowards who decide to decide for us.

As for Cameron, we all know he is just a smug and poncy merchant banker from a priveledged background doing as his controllers demand in order to secure himself a nice career at the end of his term, just as Brown, Blair and all those other previous weasels did.

A 12-year-old Christian girl was kidnapped and repeatedly raped for eight months in Pakistan by a man who then falsified marriage documents with her, it was claimed today.

The girl was lured on a shopping trip in Lahore by a friend, before she was driven 120 miles to Tandianwalla and raped by the friend's uncle in January this year.

Two days later, she was forced to sign papers consenting to marriage with the man and beaten for refusing to convert from Christianity to Islam.

She was then held against her will for eight months, before managing to escape and contact her family.

The Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) has said the rapists have not been arrested because of their affiliation with a militant Muslim organisation - the Lashkar-e-Tayyaba.

It claims the police have refused to order a medical check-up on the girl, and have warned her parents that it would be better for them to hand over the girl to her 'legal' husband or a criminal case would be filed against them.

An investigation into the kidnapping found the girl's father reported her disappearance in January and made complaints against her abductors, but police took no action for eight months.

Last month, the girl - who has not been named for legal reasons - called her family from Tandianwalla and told them she had been abducted, but had escaped and was hiding at a bus stop.

Militant ties: The Asian Human Rights Commission claims Pakistani police have refused to investigate the kidnapping because the perpetrators are tied to an extremist group.

The girl's parents travelled to the town and rescued her, before taking her to a local magistrate to give a statement.

The rapists then contacted the police through their religious group and produced a marriage certificate that claimed to show one of them was married to the 12-year-old.

As a result of their complaint, the Christian family has gone into hiding as members of Lashkar-e-Tayyaba are searching for them.

The group claims the girl is pregnant, but her mother has denied this is true.
The AHRC said that police never asked the religious group how a 12-year-old could be married. The legal age for marriage in Pakistan in 16.

It claims the Punjab provincial government is patronising banned militant organisations.

The Prime Minister has admitted that the Government had to do more to get the economy moving after "horrific" figures showed unemployment at a 17-year high, the number of young people out of work nearing a million and Jobseeker's Allowance claimants increasing for the seventh month in a row.

Both sides of industry voiced concern about the state of the jobs market, while Labour leader Ed Miliband told David Cameron it was time to admit the Government's plan "isn't working".

The Prime Minister told the Commons: "I accept we have got to do more to get our economy moving, to get jobs for our people, but we mustn't abandon the plan that has given us record low interest rates."

Unemployment increased by 114,000 to 2.57 million in the quarter to August, the worst total since the autumn of 1994, giving a jobless rate of 8.1%, the highest since 1996.

Youth unemployment reached a record high of 991,000, while the numbers claiming Jobseeker's Allowance increased for the seventh month in a row, to 1.6 million, date from the Office of National Statistics has shown.

Other figures showed a 178,000 slump in employment in the quarter to August - the biggest fall in more than two years - and the largest-ever cut in the number of part-time workers, down by 175,000.

The number of people classed as economically inactive increased by 26,000 to 9.35 million, a rate of 23.3%. Taking the inactivity rate and the new jobless figures together, half of 16 to 24-year-olds are now not employed, it was revealed.

At Prime Minister's Questions in the Commons, Mr Miliband said it was time for Mr Cameron to admit the Government's plan "isn't working", adding: "The same script, month after month. Doesn't he realise? It isn't working."

TUC general secretary Brendan Barber said: "These are terrible figures. The Government's austerity measures have turned unemployment into a full-blown crisis - with job losses not seen since the darkest days of the recession."

John Philpott, chief economic adviser at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), said: "The quarterly rise in unemployment is reminiscent of an economy in recession rather than any kind of recovery and confirms that the private sector just isn't creating enough jobs at present to offset public sector job cuts."

Slovakia says NO, the only EU country with a brain

Slovakian MPs have rejected the expansion of the euro currency zone's bailout fund.

After 10 hours of debate in parliament, the measure failed to pass by 21 votes.

Slovakia remains the only country in the 17-member eurozone that has not approved expanding the bailout fund, which would require unanimous support to go into effect.

Slovakia's one-year-old coalition government also fell with the vote because it included a no-confidence measure.

Prime Minister Iveta Radicova had urged the MPs to back the bill, arguing that the country was losing its credibility.

"It is the entire eurozone system which is under threat at the moment, not just a few small countries anymore," Radicova said in the debate in Parliament. "Our euro is under threat. The changing situation needs a quick and immediate reaction."

Earlier, Ms Radicova had admitted that a coalition partner was not convinced.

HERITAGE Oil has become one of the first movers into Libya since the overthrow of Colonel Gaddafi with a $19.5million (£13million) deal to take control of an oil services firm.

Although the purchase of a 51 per cent stake in Sahara Oil Services Holdings is only a small deal, the company believes it will provide a springboard for more lucrative licences, as well as contracts to bring existing oilfields back on stream.

“Through this acquisition Heritage is looking to play a significant role in the future development of the oil and gas industry in Libya,” the company said. Heritage is a specialist in trying to become the first company into troubled areas such as Libya.

Its chief executive Tony Buckingham is a former partner of private military contracting firm Executive Outcomes, which provided mercenaries in Africa.

He said Heritage was in “ongoing discussions” with Libya’s interim government, the National Transitional Council, to “highlight opportunities with the potential to transform Heritage”.

Evolution’s Richard Griffith said the acquisition could prove a “very shrewd investment”. The shares fell 6½p to 217¾p.

Muslim mother stabbed daughter 40 times and cut out her liver in ritual killing to 'exorcise evil spirits'

A Muslim woman disemboweled her daughter as a sacrifice to God after she became convinced the four-year-old was possessed by spirits, the Old Bailey heard.
Shayma Ali, 36, stabbed the girl up to 40 times and took out her liver while Koranic verses played in the background.

When police arrived at their east London home, Ali was heard chanting: 'I seek refuge in God from the curse of Satan'.

At the Old Bailey, Shayma Ali admitted stabbing her daughter and cutting out her liver to 'exorcise evil spirits'. Ali was found covered in blood rocking back and forward in the lounge of her home, with the child's liver on the carpet.

She had become obsessed that the child, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was possessed by a Jinn, a spirit referred to in the Koran which can occupy humans and animals.

In the winter months of last year Ali developed acute transient psychosis, which ended in the killing of the child on December 16.
Duncan Atkinson, prosecuting, said Ali had become an increasingly devout follower of Islam after a trip to Egypt in 2009.
By last year she was prone to 'outbursts of aggression' towards members of her family who became concerned that her mental health was deteriorating.
'She became particularly pre-occupied by the idea of possession by a thing call a Jinn,' said Mr Atkinson.

She removed the eyes from toys and videos, covering over the eyes on covers of DVDs and books. And she talked constantly about evil spirits and the belief that her daughter was possessed said Prosecutor Duncan Atkinson.
He told the Old Bailey Ali became increasingly obsessed with exorcising the evil spirits.

'She also became obsessed with cleaning because she believed such evil spirits thrived in dirty spaces.' He said she 'talked constantly about evil spirits' and the belief that her daughter was possessed.

On December 16 last year she was alone with her daughter, who was not attending nursery because of a recent illness, at her home in east London.
Ali later told a psychiatrist she had been praying when she began to think about sacrificing a child 'as proof of her love of God'.
Mr Atkinson said: 'She became convinced God wanted her to sacrifice her own child.
'She gripped her daughter by the neck until she blacked out. She took her to the kitchen and, as she said, "just to make sure she had killed the Jinn, the evil spirits, properly I took a kitchen knife which had been lying about and stabbed my daughter".'

Shayma Ali told her husband 'if you really love Allah you would sacrifice your daughter'

The court heard she called her husband and was found by family members in the lounge. The child was dead in the kitchen.
Police officers observed Ali repeatedly chanting: 'I seek refuge in God from the curse of Satan.' She was subsequently arrested and later charged with murder.
The four-year-old had suffered 28 exit wounds to her back, but many of the wounds overlapped each other, leading the pathologist to believe there had been 30 to 40 stab wounds.

She had also suffered blunt impact injuries to her head and compression to her neck.
In January this year Ali spoke to her husband and told him: 'A voice told me "if you really love Allah you would sacrifice your daughter".'

Psychiatrist Dr Philip Baker said Ali had become ill very quickly and it was 'very difficult for any action to be taken' but when she was psychotic she was capable of extreme violence.

Ali admitted manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility. Wearing a burka she sobbed in the dock, flanked by three nurses, as she entered her plea.
Judge Anthony Morris QC ordered she be detained in a medium-secure unit for treatment without limit of time under sections 27 and 41 of the Mental Health Act.
'You were suffering from what has been described as an acute and transient psychotic disorder which clearly had been getting significantly worse over a short period of time before you carried out the killing,' he said.
'You became convinced that God wanted you to sacrifice your child and you went on to carry out the most terrible attack upon your four year-old daughter, stabbing her many, many times and then removing her internal organs.'

He added: 'One of the most horrifying aspects of this case is how quickly you lost control of yourself in that you became, in a very short period of time, somebody who was acting in a way entirely foreign to your normal manner of behaviour.
'The authorities must think long and hard before considering whether it is safe to release you, having regard to the rapidity of the onset of your acute symptoms in this case.'

The Left is rewriting Britain's immigration history

The last Labour government threw open the borders well before Poland joined the European Union.

'We got it wrong”. If this is not quite the slogan for Labour’s annual conference in Liverpool, it is the message the leadership wants the public to hear, though without having to apologise for the mistakes made by the last government. What they really mean by this phoney self-flagellation is this: if we spent too much, it was with the best of intentions; if we borrowed too much, well so did everyone else; if the economy went down the pan, blame the bankers.

And as for immigration – it was all the fault of the Poles. “I think we underestimated the level of immigration from Poland which had a big effect on people,” said Ed Miliband.

But hang on a second. Labour came to office in 1997 and Poland did not join the EU until 2004. Yet whereas in 1996, net immigration to the UK was 40,000, by 2003 it was 150,000. It is now about 250,000. As even a cursory glance at immigration graphs will show, the beginnings of this rapid rise long predated the accession to the EU of the former Soviet bloc countries of eastern Europe.

True, the figure rose again after the Poles joined and the Labour government decided in its wisdom to allow the new arrivals to come and work in Britain, even though it could have denied them access for up to seven years – as Germany and France did. Whitehall officials estimated that only 13,000 workers from the East would come looking for jobs; in the event it was half a million, which makes even Treasury growth forecasts look like a paragon of accuracy.

But the fact remains that net immigration had almost quadrupled before the enlargement of the EU. Mr Miliband’s mea culpa is, therefore, just so much hot air. He is trying to give the impression that apart from under-estimating the influx from Poland and the other new members, it was really all beyond Labour’s control.

In fact, the last Labour government did more than “get it wrong” on immigration: either wilfully or recklessly, it ripped up a national consensus that had prevailed since the early 1970s. Next month, in fact, sees the 40th anniversary of one of the most seminal pieces of legislation of the post-war years, the 1971 Immigration Act.

It was fashioned to take the heat out of an incendiary political debate over levels of immigration that were far smaller than anything we are seeing today. The issue had exploded in the late 1960s with Enoch Powell’s “rivers of blood” speech and his subsequent dismissal from the shadow cabinet by Edward Heath.

But the Tories could not evade a subject that was causing deep disquiet in the country and when Heath took office in 1970 it was on a promise to reduce significantly the number of people coming from what was then called the New Commonwealth, essentially the Indian sub-continent, for whom there had previously been free admission to the UK.

When the Immigration Bill received its second reading in the Commons on March 8 1971 Reginald Maudling, the Home Secretary, said: “If we are to get progress in community relations, we must give assurance to the people who were already here before the large wave of immigration that this will be the end and that there will be no further large-scale immigration.”

The controls introduced by the Act put an end to mass immigration. From that point on until the mid-1990s, net immigration to the UK ran consistently around or below 50,000 per annum.

This was a level that secured widespread public approval; and even if a few fringe parties continued to bang on about it, immigration was no longer a mainstream political issue, The 1987 Conservative manifesto’s entry amounted to just a few sentences and read: “Immigration for settlement is now at its lowest level since control of Commonwealth immigration first began in 1962. Firm but fair immigration controls are essential for harmonious and improving community relations.”

By 2005, however, the Tories were accusing the government of “losing control of the borders” and promising new limits, quotas and frontier checks. “We need to ensure that immigration is effectively managed, in the interests of all Britons, old and new,” said the manifesto – echoing the words used by Maudling in 1971.

So, Labour did more than simply “get it wrong”. It undermined the fundamental basis of the 1971 settlement, which was to ensure that immigration did not become a source of friction within communities, as it clearly has done once more. Politicians have always felt it necessary to emphasise the economic benefits of immigration, even though a House of Lords committee showed these to be a myth.

But they often shy away from discussing its social significance – the impact on communities of a rapidly changing demography about which Maudling spoke 40 years ago.

For the first time since the Norman Conquest, the population is growing primarily because of immigration. This has had a significant impact on schools and hospitals, on infrastructure and housing, especially in London and the South-East, where most immigrants settle.

None of this was planned for. Moreover, despite a recent fall in emigration, far more British people are departing these shores than are returning after a period abroad. So the ethnic mix of the country is changing faster than at any time in our history.

All this happened without any discussion; nobody was asked at an election to support a new policy to replace the 1971 Act. When, in 2001, the Tories tried to get a national debate going they were howled down as racists.

Now the best the Labour leader can come up with is that his party “got it wrong.” So, that’s all right then

Migrants More Likely To Claim Benefits

MIGRANTS to the UK are more likely to be claiming unemployment benefits than the native population, newly found studies for the last Labour government have revealed.

A report showed that while just over 3.7 per cent of the local population claimed jobless payments, 5.7 per cent of immigrants from Romania and Bulgaria took the handouts along with 5.3 per cent of migrants from outside the EU and 3.7 percent of eastern Europeans who joined the EU in 2004.

The study, one of five commissioned by Labour and never published until today, belies the claim that migrants come to the UK for work.

Current Ministers accuse Labour of an “orchestrated cover-up” over the reports which lay bare the folly of its open-door migration policy.

The research was ordered by the Department for Communities and Local Government in the dying days of Gordon Brown at No 10.

The revelations, which come in the middle of the Labour Party conference, will prove humiliating to Ed Miliband.

They come just days after he was forced to confess Labour “got it wrong” on immigration.

In a Sky News weekend interview the Labour leader admitted mass migration from eastern Europe, particularly Poland, had driven down wages and living standards in the UK.

At the start of the 1980s “net immigration” for the UK was minus 42,000. By 1995 the figure had risen to 9,200.

But a decade after Labour swept to power in 1997, it had mushroomed to plus 178,000 a year.

One study on the impact of migration found that in 2009 welfare payments were going to 15.4 per cent of migrants from the A2 countries – Romania and Bulgaria – 23.1 per cent of those from the A8 eastern European countries that joined the EU in 2004 and 38.8 per cent to migrants from the rest of the world.

Housing benefit was the most popular handout. Nine out of 10 claimants from A2 and A8countries had their rent paid by the state as did 85 per cent of other migrants. For UK-born claimants the figure was 81.6 percent.

As a whole, 40 per cent of the UK-born population claimed some kind of benefit against 29 per cent of the migrant population.

In the hidden reports, statistics proved that despite a “cap” on numbers, the migration rate into Britain from Romania and Bulgaria increased significantly after they joined the EU in 2007.

Arrivals from the two countries were more likely than others to have four children or more, placing a significant strain on education and public services.

Another report said: “Immigrants in the UK exhibit lower employment rates than natives.

“They are less likely to engage in any form of civic participation.”

CHILDREN could be forced to attend compulsory lessons in “European citizenship” under draconian plans drawn up by Euro-MPs in Brussels, it emerged last night.

In a move likened to Nazi indoctrination, the European Parliament wants pupils as young as five to be taught about EU “benefits” and encouraged to behave as “good Europeans”.

MEPs also want a network of specialist “European schools” across the EU to “encourage the emergence of European citizenship from a very young age”.

And they are demanding that lessons on the history and institutions of the EU are included in the national curriculum. The extraordinary diktat from Brussels was condemned as a propaganda drive designed to brainwash youngsters into supporting an EU superstate.

Plans for the lessons were set out in a report from a committee of MEPs and backed by a vote in the European Parliament on Tuesday, although angry Tory MEPs voted against the plan.

The news comes just as a Eurocrat stormed off BBC show Newsnight after being called an idiot five times.

MEP Emma McClarkin, Tory education spokesman in the European Parliament, said: “This looks like a licence to force-feed pupils a very one-sided, starry-eyed version of what the EU is and does for its people.

“We fear it will be a carte blanche to push the federalist agenda that is so close to the hearts of the Eurocrats. When you are targeting youngsters and their education, that amounts to political interference; when you are talking about pushing propaganda at children, that is a little sinister.

“The setting of education policy should remain firmly within the hands of member states.

“What children need to know about Europe is that there is a range of views. As well as supporters of the European project, there are many political parties that see it as costly, inefficient, bureaucratic and self-serving.”

The proposals were drawn up by French MEP Jean-Marie Cavada, whose report calls for an expansion of the current 14 “European Schools” as well as integration of their ideals into national education.

He said: “The European Schools have proven effective in terms of language learning and inter-culturalism.

“They will become a model of inspiration for national school systems to promote the emergence of a European identity from an early age.”

MP Peter Bone said: “If the proposal was to teach the history of the EU by detailing how the institutions are riddled with corruption and have brought our financial system to the brink of collapse, I’d be quite happy.

“Unfortunately, that isn’t the history the Eurocrats want to teach.

“This is a proposal for more EU propaganda in our schools and the sort of indoctrination of children that was carried out by the Third Reich. It must be kept out of our schools.”

Jose Manuel Barroso was branded ‘an unelected bureaucrat in a system falling apart’

THE EU’s top bureaucrat yesterday claimed that only a fully-fledged super-state can save the euro.

Jose Manuel Barroso, the Commission’s President, said the deepening economic crisis in Europe was a “fight for integration”.

His outburst was seen by opponents of the march towards a federal Europe as exposing the ultimate ambitions of the Brussels bureaucracy.

Mr Barroso spoke out amid yet more desperate efforts to stop debt-ridden Greece going bust and wrecking the single currency.

“What we need now is a new, unifying impulse, a new federalist moment – let’s not be afraid to use the word,” Mr Barroso told the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

Nigel Farage, of the UK Independence Party, told Mr Barroso in the parliament: “We all know that Greece is going to default.

“You can’t say you weren’t warned: You were all told that Greece should never have joined the euro.” He added: “Unless Greece is allowed to get out of this economic and political prison, you may well spark a revolution in that country.”

Many senior politicians fear a Greek debt default could destroy the euro.

As the crisis deepened yesterday, US President Barack Obama and China’s Premier Wen Jiabao both warned EU leaders to get a grip.

Poland’s finance minister went so far as to say: “If the eurozone were to collapse or to disappear, then the European Union itself might not survive, that is possible.” Mr Barroso was last night pressing for the issuing of “euro bonds” as a solution to the crisis. The measure would allow the 17 euro currency nations to collectively borrow cash.

But his plan was being opposed by Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel amid fears in her country that eurozone debt is spiralling out of control.

Instead, Mrs Merkel and French president Nicolas Sarkozy were offering the Athens government more bail out cash in return for a pledge to stick to its spending cuts.

RAF Brize Norton hosts first repatriation

About 2,000 people, including two of us from Coalville, lined the route of a military repatriation ceremony at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.

Sgt Barry Weston, from Reading and of Plymouth-based 42 Commando, was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

His body is the first to arrive at the £2.8m purpose-built centre near Carterton since repatriations were moved from RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire.

Members of the Royal British Legion lowered their flags as the cortege passed.

Residents of Carterton village and military veterans stood silently and bowed their heads along the roadside en route to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The family were said to be 'Absolutely overwhelmed' by the turnout, which was feared would be small now the cortege route avoids a town centre.

They needn't have worried as hundreds of people travelled from far and wide to ensure that our brave soldier's sacrifice was recognised and appreciated.

Sgt Weston's wife Joanne and three daughters, Jasmine, Poppy and Rose were joined by family, friends and 20 of his Royal Marine colleagues from 42 Commando.

The procession paused at a new memorial garden where members of Sgt Weston's family laid white and red roses on the hearse.

Sgt Weston, 40, died on a foot patrol in Sukmanda in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand province in August.

Previously repatriations arriving at RAF Lyneham passed through the streets of Wootton Bassett where residents would line the streets.

Corteges leaving Brize Norton pass through the newly named Britannia Gate at the base but will avoid the town centre of Carterton.

Concerns have been raised by soldiers' relatives over the level of support that will be shown at the memorial garden, which is a 15 minute walk from the town centre.

Maj John Thorneloe, whose son Lt Col Rupert Thorneloe was repatriated to RAF Lyneham in 2009, said: "It's one thing for people to turn out in the streets of a town and welcome those coming home, but it's another thing for people to drive into an open space, decide where to park their cars and do it as though it wasn't an involuntary thing."

The bodies of 345 services personnel have passed through Wootton Bassett over the past four years.

The Full Text of a Speech Delivered by Dr Frank Ellis to a Conservative Party Association in North Yorkshire in which he responds, among other things, to the Loss of Direction in the Conservative Party and the Failure of the Prime Minister, David Cameron, MP, to address the root Causes of the Urban Rioting and Rapine in his Address to the House of Commons on 11th August 2011.

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Just after the first wave of urban savagery hit parts of London, I was contacted by a member of your Conservative Party Association with the request that I address an audience consisting of Conservative Party members. The individual who contacted me had read some of my earlier material on the themes of multiculturalism and the race problem in England. He told me that my views were very much in line with many of his fellow Conservative Party Association members and he asked me whether I would agree to address the problem and why there was such a huge divide between the parliamentary Conservative Party and the rank and file on questions of race, immigration and black crime.

The fact that this meeting is taking place in a large, beautiful, farm building rather than in the accommodation of your local association bears witness to the fact that the Conservative Party has indeed lost its way; that it has become a party divorced from its rank and file members; a party which colludes in the destruction of the United Kingdom and above all England. If the Conservative Party led by David Cameron still believed in the primacy of the English nation and stood in awe of the freedoms which we have wrought for ourselves over the centuries, the organiser of this meeting would not have been obliged to ask a farmer for the use of this building. We would have convened in the local party offices or some other official venue.

But we do not live in normal times. So determined is the leadership of the Conservative Party to impose the alien cult of multiculturalism on the indigenous people – that is people like you and me by the way – and to purge the Conservative Party of all dissenters that all opposition is silenced, mocked and demonised. In 2011, any member of the parliamentary Conservative Party who stood up and publicly, loudly, rationally and truthfully attacked the insane levels of immigration, the anti-white cult of multiculturalism and the profound threat to this country posed by the massive shift in non-white population levels would be deselected and abandoned. So Conservative Party Members of Parliament tremble in cowardly silence fearful of losing their jobs. They know as well as I do what is happening and say nothing. They watch even as their Motherland is defiled and abused, treated like a whore. Even worse, some of them believe in the cult. Members of the parliamentary Conservative Party who remain silent in the face of the threat to our country have effectively abandoned their posts in the presence of the enemy. So it falls to others to speak out. I am of the English blood; I am a Norman bastard; I shall speak out.

The great, Russian writer and patriot Alexander Solzhenitsyn warned us that man must not live by the Lie. What is true for a man is true for a nation. Let me spell out the brutal truth: multiculturalism is slowly and remorselessly destroying England. In fact the tempo of destruction may actually be increasing. Unchecked, mass legal/illegal immigration continues its deadly work, tearing our society apart; Marxists and multiculturalists continue unchallenged to spread their poison in our schools and universities; and non-white demography threatens completely to overwhelm us. Even in the aftermath of the urban rioting and rapine which blighted London and other cities David Cameron cannot bring himself to acknowledge that race and mass non-white immigration are some of the primary aggravating factors, in some ways they are the sole factors in this mayhem.

At every possible opportunity, from start to finish, David Cameron obfuscates, evades and denies the aggravating part played by race in his address to the House of Commons on 11th August 2011. He tells us that the trouble began when the police shot dead a one Mark Duggan. Why should the fact that the police shot dead this person be connected with the violence that followed? David Cameron tells us that opportunist gangs exploited Duggan’s death; that ‘The police faced lawbreaking on the streets on a scale not seen for decades’: and all because one person is shot dead by the police? And is there any connection between this latest bout of murderous mayhem and previous ones? Is there a common denominator whereof David Cameron remains silent? I detect the obvious lie, the obvious attempt to deceive the public – not the House of Commons, its members know the truth – when David Cameron tells us that there are ‘deeper problems that have led such a hard core of young people to decide to carry out such appalling criminality’. The problems do not have deep causes they have just been buried too deeply for too long and ignored for too long. Periodically they erupt. This is the latest – and I can assure you not the last – eruption.

Crime, David Cameron insists, has ‘a context’. In this context the problem of race cannot be ignored. David Cameron says that: ‘This is not about poverty, it’s about culture. A culture that glorifies violence, shows disrespect to authority, and says everything about rights and nothing about responsibilities. In too many cases, the parents of these children – if they are still around – don’t care where their children are or who they are with, let along what they are doing’ While this is an accurate portrait of the underclass per se it is especially accurate with regard to the black underclass. Violent street crime in London – shootings and stabbings – is essentially a black problem and we did not need the latest bout of murder and mayhem to tell us that. If David Cameron disputes this then I ask him to provide specific details of the people who ‘earn money through crime, particularly drugs and are bound together by an imposed loyalty to an authoritarian gang leader’ and who ‘blighted life on their estates with gang on gang murders ands unprovoked attacks on innocent bystanders’.

Endless commissions and inquiries are not needed to tell us the causes. The causes are painfully clear. Very large numbers of unemployed and unemployable blacks are the root cause of the riots and the overwhelming cause of violence on the streets of London. They rioted and engaged in rapine for obvious reasons. They want material goods for which they are not prepared to work so rioting is exploited in order to steal these goods. It is irrelevant to say that indigenous whites were also involved. Blacks were massively overrepresented among the, how should I put it, ‘rioting and looting community’. Had such large numbers of blacks not been present, or had the bulk of the rioters and thieves been white, the police would have cracked down much harder and sooner.

The reason the police did not react swiftly and ruthlessly to such large-scale and widespread manifestations of black, ghetto-style savagery was because the perpetrators were black not white. This is the bitter legacy of the poisonous Macpherson Report (1999). The climate of touchie-feelie, so-called ‘culturally-sensitive’ policing merely emboldens the black mob. Behind the black mob stand black councillors and other officials ever ready to scream racism. The inhibiting effects exercised by these accusations or the threat thereof have, again, been clear for some time. The Macpherson Report and everything associated with it are part of the ‘phoney human rights concerns’ that David Cameron clams will not be permitted to get in the way. So I call on David Cameron publicly to denounce the Macpherson Report and its works.

Mass, non-white immigration has been a catastrophe for England and the worst is yet to come. Violence and mayhem are bad enough but the real threat is in the projected increase in the non-indigenous population. This is where democracy works against the indigenous people. David Cameron and most Tories grasp the brute numbers, the cultural upheaval and the implications well enough yet these are problems which none of them can bear to face. A responsible government would initiate the necessary measures, short, medium and long term in order to ameliorate the worst effects of mass, non-white immigration. Immediate deportation of all illegal immigrants and an emphatic declaration that there shall be no amnesty for illegal immigrants (criminals) in any circumstances would be good beginnings. Again, David Cameron and his party show no sign that they are willing to tackle the range of problems. A responsible government and previous governments would of course not have permitted the present situation to have arisen in the first place. But that is where we are.

I will offer you a vision of England if nothing is done to stem the immigrant invasion:

(i). whole areas of England which are still rural will be concreted over in order to house immigrants. Do not assume that Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and National Park status will prevent this from happening. Cameron already wants to relax planning controls on Green Belts in order to house aliens. Aliens will be housed at the expense of the English countryside. Worse still the burden of paying for this high density housing will fall on the indigenous population. Large housing estates – 3,000 to 5,000 units - specifically intended for non-whites will be built in the countryside. There shall be no right of appeal on any grounds since the requirement to bring “diversity” to the countryside is deemed to be paramount. Farmers and other landowners who refused to sell land targeted for mass building would be served compulsory purchase orders. “Diversity” comes first;

(ii). water meters will be imposed on all properties. Large non-white immigrant families will receive water at a much lower tariff than indigenous whites. There will be similar schemes applied to electricity and gas;

(iii). immigrant numbers will translate into political power. There will be – there already is - a sordid, treacherous scramble for non-white votes by the three main parties. The interests of whites will be sacrificed where there is any electoral advantage to be gained by, say, the Conservative Party;

(iv). overcrowding, noise and pollution will make many of our cities – and not just the large ones – and medium-sized towns unbearable places in which to live and work. Expect even small villages to have “diversity” quotas imposed on them with all that that means;

(v). our large cities and towns will experience a huge increase in crime and violence, mainly from racially specific gangs, but also from non-affiliated immigrants;

(vi). specific policies of affirmative action and equal opportunities legislation modelled on American legislation will be enacted;

(vii). manifestations of any English national identity will continue to be demonised and in some cases criminalised (every other nationalism and tribal identity will be celebrated);

(viii). there will be a government-sponsored campaign to promote mixed-race marriages and households;

(ix). high-concentration Muslim cities in England will be invited to apply for semi-autonomous status. This will be the first step to full regional independence – free of any controls exercised by Westminster – and the eventual creation of the Confederation of Autonomous Muslim States. The Confederation will be recognised by the European Union since similar Muslim Autonomous Regions will by then have been created in France, Germany and Sweden. Expect the Confederation to make a declaration of independence within ten year of its founding. War with England will be inevitable and the European Union will impose a solution, by force if necessary, which is acceptable to the Confederation of Autonomous Muslim States but one which will be at the expense of the white, Christian/post-Christian indigenous population;

(x). in 2015 Magna Carta will be denounced as one of the most evil documents ever written;

(xi). your children will become a persecuted minority in their own country.

I claim the glory of Agincourt, Trafalgar and the Battle of Britain as my birthright and I accept the shame of Dunkirk and Singapore. I will not share my birthright with aliens. England is our land and our land must be ours. Shame and glory make a nation: shame is the punishment for failing to honour the covenant with our past, with what it means to be English; glory is a reminder of what can be achieved when the nation knows itself and her people are unafraid to be themselves, to revel in their national being. Shame and glory, good and evil, light and dark are some of the eternal truths with which we must live. They are the challenges that shape us and mould us. But a nation that denies its history, its language, culture, folkways; that mocks its heroes and heroines will be brought low and made easy meat for those who have no love for England.

I hope you are very worried. You should be. The ways of history are not always straight. Let us hope it is not too late to be delivered from the pestilence that threatens to overwhelm us. If you want to prevent this catastrophe then bestir your conscience and ask yourself why you still vote for a Conservative Party that prostrates itself before aliens; that hates you; that despises you; that taxes you to pay for aliens and the feckless; that sneers at your love of your great history; that wants to trample England and her people into the dust in pursuit of its hideous multiculturalism; that has betrayed you; and that actively works towards the day when England has been devoured by the United States of Europe.

Opportunity presents itself for lowlife scum to go out and steal someone's belongings or damage their property only once in a while on a grand scale and this week we have seen copycat riots or should I say looting in many of our major towns and cities.

For some strange reason this blog has seen a massive increase in the hits over the last few days despite nothing new being posted. I don't know why that is but my best guess would be that 'good for nothings' in the press and slimey little creeps opposed to me are expecting something outragious and in their blinkered eyes, racist to be posted.

My simple answer is, "no need". Those who committed most of the criminal activity have been seen on camera and regardless of the media's desperate attempts to make it a mixed race affair by showing as many white scumbags as it can find, in the end it was who it was and the reasons are the same old 'social deprivation, poor old me stories' that we're sick of hearing.

We are told constantly that Britain needs foreigners to meet the demand for skilled labour and yet here we have the reality of immigrants whinging that they can't find a job and they are socially excluded.

My sympathy goes out to anyone who really wants a job and can't find one although I believe there are plenty of crap jobs about, just the sort these swamp dwellers could do if they were inclined.

Of course they are not inclined, they would rather laze about, getting up at midday and dealing drugs or robbing innocent folk of their hard earned possessions and when the fan gets hit, what do they do? Smash a few shop windows, burn a few cars, rob a few more defenceless citizens and when they are confronted, squeal about racism .

My only fear is that as time goes by their numbers will increase and those prepared to stand up and be counted will decrease.

Government is too weak to act and would rather attack the defenders, unless of course they are of other ethnicity, in which case they are praised as heroes.

Don't worry my dear friends and spies alike. I shall not be commenting on the events of the last few days because I don't need to - oops!

THE nation state is the greatest vehicle ever invented by mankind for the promotion of democracy and prosperity.

That is because it is essentially an extension of the family with citizens enjoying a shared sense of belonging, unity and heritage.

The tragedy of modern Britain is that our traditional identity is under remorseless political attack.

Mass immigration, the dogma of multiculturalism and the growing power of the European Union have conspired to undermine our British nationhood.

Our once unified country is in danger of becoming nothing more than a land mass filled with disparate peoples.

Despite the opposition of the vast majority of the British public the transformation of our society appears to be gathering pace.

In the year to March 2011 no fewer than 586,000 immigrants were granted entry, the vast majority from Asia and Africa. It was by far the highest total in our history, more than 10 times the average level of immigration in the Eighties.

As border controls weaken so the concept of British citizenship is becoming increasingly meaningless. The right to hold a British passport used to be cherished but today that privilege has been utterly devalued.

According to figures released last week 203,600 British passports were dished out to immigrants, a 57 per cent increase on the figure for 2008. It is the same dismal story in other aspects of our porous immigration system.

Earlier this month a Parliamentary committee revealed that the Home Office had effectively granted an amnesty to 160,000 bogus refugees, allowing them to settle here permanently and claim benefits.

The Government is so enfeebled that it cannot even deport even the most undesirable foreigners.

It has been reported that more than 100 serious foreign criminals last year exploited human rights laws to escape deportation.

Among those allowed to remain here is a violent drug dealer from Trinidad, a Nepalese killer and a Bolivian whom judges decided could not be sent home because he had bought himself a pet cat. Such madness is likely to worsen as Britain sinks deeper within the EU and the last vestiges of immigration controls are obliterated.

There will soon be a vast new influx of arrivals from Bulgaria and Romania once the citizens of those two member states are allowed to travel and settle anywhere in Europe without restrictions, as the Brussels Parliament recommended last week.

Even worse more than 70million Turkish Muslims will have the right to come to Britain if Turkey is granted EU membership, as the coalition wants.

What we are witnessing is a grotesque form of assisted national suicide.

In the brave new world of uncontrolled immigration and EU rule the very concept of Britishness is an irrelevance. All solidarity disappears, replaced by bewilderment and distrust.

All around us we can see the dire consequences of the immigration free-for-all, whether it be the spread of sharia law or the prevalence of violent gangs in our inner cities or the rise of Islamic extremism.

It is a bizarre irony that in the name of liberal tolerance towards immigration we are now importing a new kind of gross intolerance which is utterly inimical to British values.

In the East London borough of Tower Hamlets, for instance, where there is a large Muslim population, gangs of zealots now roam the streets posing as a self-appointed moral police, demanding that women wear the veil and that gay pubs be closed.

Mass immigration has also meant the destruction of the social contract on which the benefits system, the NHS and many of our public services are based. The founding principle was one of reciprocity: people would be provided with welfare, education or healthcare in return for their contributions to British society through tax, national insurance, work or caring for others.

But now that ethic has been shattered. We are now forced to support millions of people who have absolutely no connection to Britain, such as the 12-strong Ethiopian family recently given a huge house in East London at a cost to the taxpayer of more than £75,000 a year.

The political elite tries to assuage the justifiable anger of the British by peddling deceitful propaganda such as the false claim that immigration has boosted our economy.

Actually it has done just the opposite, dragging down wages and imposing a crippling burden on our infrastructure.

AN EVEN greater myth beloved of the Left is that Britain is “a nation of immigrants” so there is supposedly nothing unique about the modern influx from Asia and Africa. But this is just a lie.

In fact Britain was until the Seventies one of the most homogenous nations. Moreover the small numbers that arrived here, such as Irish labourers, or Jewish or French refugees fleeing religious persecution, were steeped in the Judeo-Christian culture that built our civilisation.

It was because Britain was so homogenous that it was so successful. But now we are a nation riven by ethnic divisions where patriotism is regarded with suspicion and all public policy is viewed through the prism of race.

Throughout the western world, we have voted for men and women who actively hate us and who will stop at nothing to inflict as much harm as they can upon us. The American public have not yet realised quite how malevolent the man currently occupying the White House and his administration are, however, we in Britain were, this time well ahead of them in electing our own political assassins.

Amongst the most evil of those politicians elected to power in Britain were those who made up the New Labour party who we voted into power in 1997, and kept there for thirteen long years. It is gradually becoming clear that in those thirteen years New Labour did more deliberate damage to our nation, and to our people than any enemy we have ever faced before.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. On the 3rd of January 1946, William Joyce, better known as Lord Haw-Haw, was the last man in Britain to be hanged for the ancient crime of treason. Unless a future government changes the law it is unlikely that traitors will ever dangle again, after Tony Blair rather conveniently repealed the death penalty for such a crime in 1998.

Only nineteen percent of Pakistanis have a negative view of Al Qaeda and by default the Taliban, whilst seventy-five percent wish to see Sharia law implemented. British-born Muslims make an estimated four hundred thousand trips a year to Pakistan, where as many as thirty threats against Britain are being monitored at any given time.
Thirty-three percent of Muslim students in Britain think killing in the name of Islam is permissible. Only thirty-seven percent oppose the introduction of Sharia law and only twenty-five percent oppose the creation of a worldwide Muslim caliphate.
MI5 believe there are up to four thousand potential terrorists and thirteen thousand Al Qaeda sympathisers living in Britain. The CIA devotes an astonishing forty percent of their anti-terrorist homeland security operations against suspects not in Afghanistan or Waziristan, but in Britain itself — a country described by one CIA operative as “a swamp of Jihadis.”
Barack Obama’s counter-terrorist advisor Bruce Riedel recently stated: “The British Pakistani community is recognised as probably Al Qaeda’s best mechanism for launching an attack against North America.”
All in all then, it would seem less than prudent to allow any more bearded ideologues into Britain, yet the Labour government — and this must sound quite insane to most people — actually went to the extraordinary lengths of advertising for foreign colonisers from the very same country the Home Office was paying Danegeld to in a typically limp-wristed appeal to stop it from blowing us up.

The British Embassy in Pakistan distributed glossy pamphlets entitled “Multicultural Britain — a Land of Immigrants” which gave a raft of arguments as to the benefits of living in Britain such as well paid jobs, plain old welfare, and the prospect of inviting over the entire extended family (sans goat) once a British passport had been acquired.

And of course there was the rather unpleasant — nay, treacherous — implication that there was no such thing as a homogenous Britain, no such place as an English homeland, just an indeterminate area of land settled by a vague mongrel collection of disparate peoples including any number of rag-tag colonial racists awaiting divine racial redemption from those they once oppressed.

So desperate were the Labour traitors to destroy Britain that, having secured power, they immediately carried out two political acts which could only place our peaceful future in doubt. The Human Rights Convention was immediately incorporated into British law and immigration rules were relaxed to allow an open-door policy of mass Muslim immigration.

A few thousand people who could gently assimilate were of little use to the Labour government. To ensure the success of their revolutionary plan, they urgently needed inassimilable millions and were quite prepared to deceive the British public about the real number of Muslim immigrants — and the real reasons Tony Blair wanted them in Britain.

TENS of thousands of immigrants have been allowed to stay in the UK after border police introduced an unofficial "amnesty", according to MPs.
In a damning report, the Home Affairs Select Committee said the UK Border Agency had used the desperate measure to help clear their enormous backlog.

A staggering 161,000 asylum seekers - or 40 per cent of unresolved cases - were given leave to stay in Britain.

The report said: "We understand that ministers would have been unwilling to announce an amnesty for the applicants caught up in this backlog, not least because this might be interpreted as meaning that the UK was prepared more generally to relax its approach towards migration.

"But we consider that in practice an amnesty has taken place, at considerable cost to the taxpayer."

Immigrants

The report estimated that 74,500 cases were dropped because the immigrants could not be found.

And just 38,000 were booted out of the UK by officials.

The report added: "The net result is that a very large number of people remain in the UK who either have no right to be here or who would have been removed had their cases been dealt with in a timely manner."

Damning ... Committee chairman Keith Vaz said the UKBA was not "fit for purpose".

He said: "While there is no doubt that individual caseworkers are dedicated and hard-working, there are serious concerns over the agency's ability to deal with cases and respond to intelligence swiftly and thoroughly.

"The Government is set on reducing immigration to the tens of thousands and effectively controlling immigration.

"It will have to ensure that the UK Border Agency begins to focus on the outcome rather than the processes of their work."

The report is yet another blow for the Government, which has vowed to clamp down on immigration.

But last week, new figures showed net migration had soared to a six-year high of 242,000.

Ministers say they will slash the number of visas being given to foreigners, and tighten border controls, to help deal with the problem.

Immigration minister Damian Green yesterday insisted they were getting to grips with the issue.

He said: "There is absolutely no amnesty.

"The numbers granted permission to stay are about 40 per cent, which has been true ever since the backlog was discovered.

"It is true that the system was in chaos a few years ago, but it's now getting back on its feet."

Shadow home office minister Gerry Sutcliffe said: "This is woeful mismanagement."

He continued: "Following the Government's decision to cut over 5,000 staff from the UKBA, we have repeatedly warned the Home Office that enforcement will suffer as a result.

"This report shows that managers and staff at UKBA consistently say there are not sufficient resources to track and return illegal immigrants."

He added: "This is woeful mismanagement from the Home Office, adding to the confusion surrounding their policy.

"We still do not know whether their promise of cutting net migration to the tens of thousands by 2015 is Government policy or not, while enforcement of the UK's borders is being undermined by cuts.

"The Conservatives made big promises on immigration, but they are failing to deliver."

BRUSSELS last night sparked fury after backing plans to increase the European Union’s budget to £787billion and directly tax British workers.

Euro MPs were accused of delivering a “kick in the teeth” to UK taxpayers by demanding an inflation-busting five per cent rise in the EU’s funding.

A powerful finance committee of MEPs voted in favour of the huge rise alongside a raft of other power-grabbing measures, including the right to impose levies directly. Britain even faces losing its hard-won EU rebate worth £2.6billion a year.

Conservative Europe minister David Lidington said last night: “All around the EU, national governments and millions of ordinary families are having to take hard decisions about spending.

“EU institutions, like everyone else, need to face up to the responsibility of choosing priorities and delivering value for money. The committee’s decision is a kick in the teeth for taxpayers throughout Europe.”

The EU’s previous framework budget, for the years 2007 to 2013, was set at around 864billion euros.

Under the proposed five per cent increase, the next seven-year budget, from 2014 to 2020, would soar to 907billion euros, or £787billion.

The deal would also enable Brussels to impose direct levies on citizens in members states via carbon or aviation taxes. And it could see the abolition of national rebates and an end to the system of returning unspent EU money to national governments.

Prime Minister David Cameron, with support from some other EU leaders, wants the budget frozen, arguing it is unacceptable for Europe to hoover up growing sums of taxpayers’ cash when member states are having to make painful cuts at home.

But Tory eurosceptic MP Douglas Carswell warned that the report demonstrated the EU intends to ignore the calls for restraint. He said: “This vote shows that the eurocrats simply don’t get it.

“We have been forced this year to increase massively the amount of money we pay to the EU, both in the budget and through the bailouts of eurozone countries, and still they want more.”

Mr Carswell, who is a strong supporter of the Daily Express crusade to get Britain out of the EU, added: “If people want good public services and reasonable rates of tax, we need to decide whether it’s possible to remain members of the EU.

“The time has come to ask: Is it worth all this?”

The proposals are expected to be backed by the full European Parliament next week and by the EU Commission soon afterwards. The final deal will have to be agreed by all 27 member states.

Tory MEP Richard Ashworth was one of just five committee members who voted against the plans, with 39 in favour and four abstaining. He said: “Once again the European Parliament is making unreasonable demands on taxpayers.

“The EU is telling national governments to pay their debts yet we are asking them to borrow more for Brussels.

“People suffering from cuts at home cannot accept their governments sending more money to the EU.”

Mr Cameron has backing from France and Germany in calling for any increases in the EU budget up to 2020 to be capped at the EU inflation rate, currently 3.2 per cent.

But the MEPs’ report, drafted by Spanish politician Salvador Garriga, said that freezing the EU budget “should not be considered a viable option as it would be detrimental for the achievement of the Union’s agreed objectives”.

IMMIGRATION ADDS MILLIONS TO OUR OVERCROWDED NATION

England is the second most densely populated country in Europe.

When Labour took power in 1997 the UK had a population of about 58 million. After 14 years of mass, uncontrolled immigration it has risen to more than 61.8 million.

Immigration adds over 200,000 new people to the population each year. That is a million every five years, equivalent to a city the size of Birmingham.

England is the second most densely populated country in Europe and one of the most densely populated countries in the world, with over 1,000 people per square mile. Astonishingly, it is even more densely populated than India, China or Japan.

Office for National Statistics figures published in 2008 predict the UK’s population will hit 70 million by 2031, 80 million by 2061, and over 85 million by 2081.

This steep increase can be shown to be the direct result of immigration and births to migrants. Without mass immigration the population would naturally decline to 60 million by 2031.

In an age when the environment and green issues are high on the agenda, it is odd that the unsustainable growth in the UK population is not taken into account as an important factor in the sustainability of our natural resources, public services and infrastructure.

The British people have been remarkably tolerant of the dramatic changes brought about by mass immigration over the last 50 years or more. However, anyone who tries to question the wisdom of unrestrained mass immigration runs the risk of being accused of racism or xenophobia.

Britain’s immigration policy has been designed for the benefit of foreigners not for British citizens. That has to change if we want to manage population growth in keeping with our available resources. There has to be radical change starting now.

Four times as many jobs for immigrants - under Tories

Four times more jobs have gone to migrants than British-born workers in the last year, official figures revealed yesterday.

A record four million jobs in Britain are now carried out by people born abroad.
Over the last year, an average of 915 immigrants a day obtained a job compared to 211people born in the UK.

The figures showing that 334,000 jobs went to people born abroad and 77,000 to UK-born workers came from the Office for National Statistics, as experts warned that the labour market is ‘faltering’.

Unemployment has dropped, down 36,000 to 2.455million between January and March, but economists fear the fall is only temporary.

The flood of state workers losing their jobs has only just begun, and experts doubt that the private sector will be able to absorb them.

Nigel Meager, director of the Institute for Employment Studies, said: ‘It is highly implausible, in the immediate future at least, that new private sector jobs will absorb the staff being thrown out from the public and voluntary sectors.’

One warning signal is that the number of people claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance has risen at its fastest rate since the beginning of last year.

The so-called ‘claimant count’ jumped by 12,400 in April, a more recent indicator of the jobs market than unemployment, which relates to March. Of the total of 1.46million, women accounted for 474,400.

Sir Andrew Green, chairman of the think-tank Migrationwatch, said: ‘The immigration lobby surely cannot go on pretending that there is no significant effect on opportunities for British workers.’

Many of the 334,000 extra immigrant workers came from the countries that joined the EU in 2004, such as Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

By comparison, the number from Australia and New Zealand has dropped.
Although unemployment has fallen, the number of people who have been out of work for more than two years is rising. There are 386,000 people who have been looking for jobs for ‘at least 24 months’, the largest number for 14 years, according to the ONS.
And the number of vacancies has fallen, down 30,000 between February and April. There are 5.1 unemployed people chasing every job vacancy.

Well on Sunday May 8th 2011 around 4,000 Ravens fans set off for an epic day out at the home of football.

The atmosphere was electric as fans sporting all the usual scarves, hats, flags and homemade banners converged on North London for the final of the FA Vase.

The party was only spoiled 4 minutes from time when Whitley Bay's star striker got lucky with a deflection that broke the hearts of the black and white army.

Frantic efforts in the dying seconds to pull back the lead for the third time came to nothing and at the final whistle 4,000 deflated fans cheered their brave team off the pitch with a standing ovation.

The journey home after a defeat like that is never much fun but we all know Coalville should have won and we won promotion after all so next season will see the Ravens at a different level where cup success will once again be a pipe dream-or will it?

Measham reverted back to Red which was my forecast, especially when Jason Summerfield lost his seat through non attendance. Never goes down well with the electorate and the opposition would be fools not to mention it.

Snibston also returned to Red, ousting Chris Timmis, who I didn't expect to stand again as he has a quite a commitment in running a farm and Paula Purver who I thought was well regarded but whose comment on losing to me in the County's about Coalville deserves better will not gain her much sympathy here.

Coalville could and would have been so much different if Phil Holland hadn't taken ill just two weeks before the election and spent his entire campaign in bed. Phil received a token support from another Councillor but only managed to get 400-500 leaflets delivered otherwise I'm sure the Trotskyite Twins would be scrabbling around for one seat between them.

Our sympathy goes out to Phil who is by far a better councillor than slobbo although he doesn't go in for the Hermitage FM publicity stunts and ring the Coalville Times/Leicester Mercury every time he sneezes tripe. Luckily for the Reds they have a friend at the "politically neutral" Mercury who publishes the thoughts of Chairman Mao whenever his brain lights up.

As expected, there was a general shift to Labour and the Lib Dems failed miserably again.

My forecast that Labour would take 18 seats did not quite materialise as they only managed 16 and the Conservatives hung on better than I expected with 21.

The Lib Dems lost 2 of their 3 councillors, all in Greenhill.
The BNP lost its only councillor in Whitwick, and both Independents, Phil Holland in Coalville and myself in Hugglescote were soundly beaten.

I have no excuse and I know Phil deserved better than to be ousted by two red wearing anti-Christs. Legrys is the biggest hypocrite in Coalville, attending the Remembrance Day service at Christ Church while professing to be an atheist. Clayfield is someone I don't really know, since she retired at one point, through illness I think, but has made a successful comeback.

We can expect to hear more from these two in the next few weeks as both are likely to make the trip to Wembley and be in the press for their patriotic support of lowly Coalville Town, FA Vase finalists and Midland Alliance league champions.

What a pity the rucksack wearing. tie avoiding slob can't make the effort on a cold winter's night, but there you go, always on the front line when it comes to publicity even though everyone knows he is a fraud.

As for my own defeat, it was always on the cards and I wasn't planning to stand until a few weeks ago but when I received messages of support asking me to do it one more time I thought I should. Just had a glance at the BDF forum and spotted a list of BNP Councillors so out of interest I had a look what it said about me.

"Threw in my lot with Sadie Graham then retracted and went back into the Griffin fold"

"Resigned the whip and later changed my mind"

"Quit Ellistown Parish Council where I also had a seat"

No mention of the fact that I have the best attendance at meetings of all the district councillors.

I've never sat on Ellistown Parish Council

I didn't throw in my lot with Sadie Graham although I did go to her extraordinary meeting to hear what she had to say.

I was never in the "Griffin fold".

I didn't resign from the District over Ellistown, it was a legal issue with the District. I was told to seek my own legal advice by the Monitoring Officer who I understood to be a qualified solicitor. That isn't finished yet.

THE PRIME MINISTER SHOULD SACK VINCE CABLE RIGHT NOW

Vince Cable is now the enemy within

LAST May, when the coalition Government was formed in the aftermath of the inconclusive general election, the Liberal Democrats portrayed themselves as the responsible allies of the Conservative party.

Yet now they are rapidly emerging as the enemy within. Lurching between whining self-pity and Left-wing self-indulgence they are behaving ever more like student union activists desperate to rebel against authority. On so many fronts, posturing Liberal Democrat ministers now obstruct the introduction of sensible, robust policies that might drag Britain out of the mess created by Labour. So they prevent any repeal of the wretched Human Rights Act.

They water down attempts to reform the profligate welfare state. Their euro-fanaticism makes it a constant struggle for the Tories in the Government to bring back powers from Brussels and Strasbourg. Liberal Democrat MPs, tellingly, have backed proposals to give full voting rights to prisoners. But no figure exemplifies the fractious spirit of the Liberal Democrats more clearly than the Business Secretary Vince Cable, who has elevated attention- seeking disloyalty into a theme of governance. At times he acts more like a member of the Opposition rather than one of the highest ranking ministers in the Cabinet.

At the end of last year he boasted to undercover reporters of his ability to cause mayhem. “I have the nuclear option. It is like fighting a war. If they push me too far I can walk out and bring down the Government,” he proclaimed, once again showing that he is not a man weighed down by the virtues of modesty or dependability. In recent days Cable has carried this rebelliousness to new heights. First of all he trumpeted his decision to share a platform with Labour leader Ed Miliband as part of his party’s increasingly shrill, hysterical campaign for the Alternative Vote (AV) system in the run-up to the national referendum on May 5. Far worse, however, was his blatant attack on David Cameron over the issue of immigration.

Last week the Prime Minister gave a perfectly sensible speech on the subject, warning of the sense of “discomfort and disjointedness” at the “largest influx of people Britain has ever had”. Eager to win the plaudits of Left-wingers Cable immediately went on the offensive. Not only did he describe Cameron’s speech as “very unwise” he also said that the Prime Minister risked “inflaming extremism”. If Cable really believes that he is a fool who is unfit to hold office. If he does not then he is just a nasty opportunist.

It is uncontrolled mass immigration that has fuelled extremism in our midst, not least through the import of radical Islamists bent on the destruction of our society. Moreover, the eagerness of politicians such as Cable to close down debate with smears and scaremongering has helped provoke incendiary divisions in our midst, precisely because the vast majority of those affected by mass immigration have been denied a voice in the political process. Just like Gordon Brown who notoriously branded Rochdale voter Gillian Duffy “a bigot” for expressing her concerns about the transformation of Britain, so Cable is now indulging in the same kind of Left-wing McCarthyism.

Cable has gone beyond mere rhetoric. According to reports yesterday he even urged an education company, the Association of UK Private Schools and Colleges, to take legal action against the Government in an attempt to halt the introduction of a cap on the number of non-EU migrants coming to Britain, one of the Tories’ flagship policies. For a minister to encourage litigation against his own administration is bizarre. His entire stance makes a mockery of the Cabinet system and shatters the principle of collective responsibility. If every minister behaved in this detached, freelance manner anarchy would prevail.

What makes Cable’s position even more indefensible is that he is so completely wrong about immigration. He spouts the fashionable metropolitan propaganda that the collapse of our borders has boosted our economy and enriched Britain’s diversity but none of his claims stand up to scrutiny.

In fact, mass immigration has put an intolerable strain on our public services, ripped apart Britain’s social cohesion, weakened our national identity, pushed up the crime rate, cost a fortune in welfare bills and made ordinary citizens feel like aliens in their own land. Even Ed Miliband’s own adviser Lord Glasman said last week that uncontrolled immigration “undermines solidarity”, the sort of language we would never hear from Cable whose ideological fixation with multi-culturalism is written into his political DNA.

With 570,000 new arrivals coming here every year, most of them from Africa and Asia, it is absurd to pretend that restrictions on immigration will do “huge damage” to Britain, as Cable has claimed. Just the opposite is true. Tighter controls would allow us to start rebuilding our society and our economy. The term Liberal Democrats is a gross misnomer. There is nothing liberal or democratic about their support for the EU or mass immigration, both of which are strongly opposed by the overwhelming majority of Britons.

They cannot be allowed to hold the Government to ransom any longer. Cameron should reassert his authority and dismissing Cable, the self-important troublemaker, would be a welcome first step.

A SCHEME costing £11million to cut re-offending rates among criminals jailed for up to a year has had no impact at all, an official evaluation has found.

The scheme, piloted by the Metropolitan Police and London Probation, aimed to break the cycle of reoffending by offering offenders help with problems such as drug and alcohol misuse, housing, debt and unemployment.

But the results showed that 156 of 368 offenders (42.4 per cent) on the scheme committed new crimes within a year, compared with 136 of 327 similar convicts (41.6 per cent) who received no special help.

More than 54,000 criminals from EU countries have been convicted in the last two years

CRIMINALS from other European Union nations are being convicted of more than 500 offences a week in the UK, disturbing police figures showed yesterday.

Poles and Romanians were among the worst cases, raising fresh concerns about the wisdom of expanding the EU eastwards.

The overwhelming majority of the foreign crooks could not be sent home after serving prison sentences because their deportation has been forbidden under Brussels freedom-of-movement laws.

Last night, the revelation of the EU crime wave ignited fresh anger at the collapse of border controls caused by laws from Brussels.

Paul Nuttall, a UK Independence Party Euro-MP, said: “A sovereign nation should be able to decide who is allowed to live within its borders and who is not.

“If somebody commits a crime here, they should be booted out.”

Figures released by the Association of Chief Police Officers following a Freedom of Information request show that more than 54,000 criminals from EU countries have been convicted in the last two years.

Senior police officers complain that the influx of lawbreakers, often with poor or no English, is putting a massive strain on their resources. One said even cautioning a foreign criminal could take six hours.

“We have to adapt all the time to deal with new and emerging problems. However we pride ourselves on our strong relationships with our local communities and the way we deal with the issues that emerge.”

The figures were compiled as part of a system between EU police forces where officers must notify their counterparts in another EU member state if one of its citizens is convicted of a crime.

ACPO’s statistics show that a total of 26,956 notifications were made during 2010 and 27,379 in 2009 – equivalent to 520 crimes a week.

During 2010, 6777 Poles and 4,343 Romanians – by far the largest immigrant communities – were convicted in the UK.

In the list was Pole Piotr Zasada, 33, jailed for life last year after he stabbed his ex-girlfriend and threw her out of a second-floor window in Bournemouth.

A further 4,176 offenders were from Lithuania and 2,423 from Ireland. Excluding Ireland, the largest numbers of offenders all came from nations that joined the EU between 2004 and 2007.

A Home Office spokesman said: “We are committed to removing foreign lawbreakers from the UK. We removed 5,235 foreign national prisoners in 2010.”
